Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Record of Decision regulatory
"Received Record of Decision, final federal permits"
A record of decision is an official written statement from a government regulator that explains and finalizes its approval or denial of a proposed project after reviewing environmental and legal factors. For investors, it matters because it removes a major regulatory uncertainty — like a referee’s final whistle — allowing a project to move forward, be funded, or be halted, which can change timelines, costs, and potential liabilities.
net cash position financial
"a net cash position of $163 million"
The net cash position is the amount of cash and easily sold assets a company has after subtracting its outstanding debt, essentially “money in the wallet” minus what it owes. Investors care because it shows how easily a company can cover bills, invest in growth, buy back shares, or weather a downturn — stronger net cash usually means lower financial risk and more strategic flexibility, much like a household with savings and little debt.
normal course issuer bid financial
"under its normal course issuer bid"
A Normal Course Issuer Bid is when a company buys back its own shares from the stock market over time. This usually shows that the company believes its stock is undervalued and wants to support its price, which can be important for investors to watch.
revolving credit facility financial
"$365 million drawn and outstanding on its revolving credit facility"
A revolving credit facility is a type of loan that a business can borrow from whenever it needs money, up to a set limit. It’s like having a credit card for companies—allowing them to borrow, pay back, and borrow again as needed, providing flexibility for managing cash flow or funding short-term expenses.
processed grade technical
"Processed Grade (g/t)"
Processed grade identifies the quality level and characteristics of a commodity or material after it has been cleaned, refined, milled, or otherwise transformed from its raw form. It explains how the product was treated and which quality standards or grading rules it meets, which affects price, marketability, storage, and which buyers or channels will accept it. Think of it as a report card showing how usable and saleable a product is after processing.

(TSX: EQX, NYSE American: EQX) (“Equinox Gold” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce production results for the three months ended September 30, 2026 (“Q3” or the “quarter”). During the quarter, the Company completed its business combination with Orla Mining Ltd. (“Orla”) on July 31, 2026, creating a new senior North American gold producer with an enhanced Canadian footprint. As a result, Q3 production results include two months of attributable production from Musselwhite (Canada) and Camino Rojo (Mexico) following the closing of the transaction. • Advancing Next Growth Project in Nevada: Received Record of Decision, final federal permits, for the South Railroad project in Nevada, USA, and subsequently commenced early works construction activities. South Railroad represents a key growth project for the Company with first gold production planned for 2028.
