FAQ

What did Exelon (EXC) disclose in this amended 8-K/A?

Exelon disclosed updated board committee assignments for director David DeWalt. The filing clarifies that, following his earlier Board appointment, he will serve on two key Board committees starting April 27, 2026, formalizing his specific governance responsibilities.

Which board committees will David DeWalt serve on at Exelon (EXC)?

David DeWalt will serve on Exelon’s Talent Management and Compensation Committee and the Operations, Safety, and Customer Experience Committee. These roles align him with oversight of executive compensation, talent strategy, operational performance, safety practices, and customer-focused initiatives at the company.

When do David DeWalt’s new committee roles at Exelon (EXC) become effective?

David DeWalt’s committee assignments become effective on April 27, 2026. Although he joined Exelon’s Board earlier, this effective date marks when he formally begins serving on the Talent Management and Compensation and Operations, Safety, and Customer Experience Committees.

Why did Exelon (EXC) file an amendment to its prior 8-K about David DeWalt?

Exelon amended its prior report because the Board had not yet decided David DeWalt’s committee assignments when he was first appointed. This 8-K/A provides that missing detail, completing the earlier disclosure and specifying his committee roles and their effective date.

When was David DeWalt originally appointed to Exelon’s (EXC) Board of Directors?

David DeWalt was originally appointed to Exelon’s Board of Directors on March 10, 2025. At that time, the company had not determined which committees he would join, leading to this later amendment once his specific assignments were finalized.
