Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. Rhea-AI Filing Summary

On October 30, 2026, Flutter Entertainment plc and certain subsidiaries entered into a First Amendment and Restatement Agreement to the Term Loan A, Term Loan B and Revolving Credit Facility Agreement dated November 24, 2023. After giving effect to the amendment, Term A and revolving credit facility loans will bear interest at the applicable screen rate—Term SOFR, EURIBOR or SONIA—plus a margin of 1.40% to 2.00% per annum, determined by reference to the company’s corporate ratings from Moody’s, S&P and Fitch.

Filing Explained

The company says its description of the amendment is incomplete and that the full agreement will be filed as an exhibit to its Form 10-K for the year ending December 31, 2026; the rate terms in this filing are therefore not the full amendment record.

Item 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement Business
The company signed a significant contract such as a merger agreement, credit facility, or major partnership.
Item 2.03 Creation of a Direct Financial Obligation or an Obligation under an Off-Balance Sheet Arrangement Financial
The company incurred a new significant debt or off-balance-sheet obligation.
Interest margin 1.40% to 2.00% per annum Term A and revolving credit facility loans; determined by reference to corporate ratings
Term SOFR financial
"applicable screen rate (Term SOFR, EURIBOR or SONIA, as applicable)"
Term SOFR is a benchmark interest rate that reflects the cost of borrowing money over a specific period, based on actual transactions in the financial markets. It is used by lenders and borrowers to set the interest rates on loans and financial contracts, helping to ensure rates are fair and transparent. For investors, understanding term SOFR helps gauge borrowing costs and the overall direction of interest rates in the economy.
EURIBOR financial
"applicable screen rate (Term SOFR, EURIBOR or SONIA, as applicable)"
Euribor is the benchmark interest rate at which banks in the eurozone lend short-term money to one another and is published for several maturities (overnight to one year). Investors watch it because it forms the baseline for many loans, mortgages, bonds and derivatives—like the temperature reading that helps predict how hot borrowing costs and returns will be across the market.
SONIA financial
"applicable screen rate (Term SOFR, EURIBOR or SONIA, as applicable)"
SONIA is the Sterling Overnight Index Average, the market benchmark that reflects the average interest rate banks pay to borrow British pounds overnight. Think of it like the overnight hotel rate for cash: it shows the short‑term cost of money and is used as a reference price for loans, bonds and interest-rate contracts, so movements in SONIA affect borrowing costs, contract values and investor returns.
