electronically steered antenna (ESA) technical
"additional orders of $43 million ... for its Sidewinder electronically steered antenna (ESA) terminals"
An electronically steered antenna (ESA) is a radio antenna that aims and directs its signal by changing the timing and strength of signals across many small elements instead of moving the whole antenna. For investors, ESAs matter because they offer faster, more reliable connections with fewer mechanical parts—reducing maintenance, enabling new services (like flexible satellite and 5G links), and often lowering costs or improving performance for companies that adopt them.

Forward-looking statements are predictions or plans that companies share about what they expect to happen in the future, like estimating sales or profits. They matter because they help investors understand a company's outlook, but since they are based on guesses and assumptions, they can sometimes be wrong.
