Rhea-AI Filing Summary

GoldMining Inc. appointed Alexandre Soares Pimenta as Project Director for its 100%-owned São Jorge Gold Project in Pará State, Brazil. He will lead project advancement, including pre-feasibility activities commencing and a proposed infill diamond drilling program in the final stages of planning and preparation. Pimenta has more than 25 years of experience across mining studies, construction and operations.

The preliminary economic assessment announced June 11, 2026 modeled an after-tax net present value at a 5% discount rate of US$532 million and an after-tax internal rate of return of 42.4%, with average annual gold production of 51,250 ounces over a 10.6-year mine life. The assessment is preliminary, includes inferred mineral resources, and there is no certainty its conceptual economics will be realized.

Project Director experience More than 25 years Experience spanning mining project studies, construction and operations
Processing capacity 5,500 tonnes per day São Jorge PEA modeled capacity
Annual processing 1.9 million tonnes per annum São Jorge PEA modeled processing volume
After-tax net present value US$532 million São Jorge PEA base case at a 5% discount rate
After-tax internal rate of return 42.4% São Jorge PEA base case
Average annual gold production 51,250 ounces São Jorge PEA modeled production profile
Mine life 10.6 years São Jorge PEA modeled mine life
Base-case gold price US$3,500 per ounce Gold price assumption in the São Jorge PEA
infill diamond drilling technical
"commencement of pre-feasibility activities and infill diamond drilling"
Drilling that uses diamond-tipped coring equipment to drill new holes between previously completed holes, increasing the spacing density of subsurface samples so the continuity, grade and geometry of a mineral deposit can be defined more precisely; it is used to convert broader, lower-confidence exploration results into higher-confidence resource classifications and to provide continuous rock core for detailed geological, structural and assay information.
Preliminary Economic Assessment technical
"Technical Report and Preliminary Economic Assessment, São Jorge Project"
A preliminary economic assessment is an initial analysis that estimates the potential profitability and feasibility of a project or resource, such as a new mineral deposit or development venture. It provides a rough idea of costs, benefits, and risks, helping investors decide whether to pursue more detailed studies. This early evaluation is important because it offers a snapshot of whether the project is worth further investment and development.
after-tax net present value financial
"base case after-tax net present value at a 5% discount rate"
gravity/leach circuit technical
"gravity/leach circuit processing 5,500 tonnes per day"
inferred mineral resources technical
"PEA is preliminary in nature and includes inferred mineral resources"
An inferred mineral resource is an estimate of the quantity and grade of minerals in the ground based on limited sampling and geological information, where confidence is low and continuity is uncertain. For investors it signals potential value but also higher risk—like a rough sketch of a hidden treasure that requires much more exploration and testing before you can reliably judge its size or economic worth.

About São Jorge

The São Jorge Gold Project is located in the Tapajós gold district in Pará State, Brazil, adjacent to regional highway BR-163. It is a granite-hosted, intrusion-related gold mineral system that is similar in style to the Tocantinzinho gold mine, located approximately 80 km to the northwest, which commenced commercial production in 2024 and produced 171,871 ounces of gold in 2025. Operational results at the Tocantinzinho gold mine are not necessarily indicative of mineralization at São Jorge.

On June 11, 2026, the Company announced a PEA for São Jorge that envisaged a conventional open-pit operation and gravity/leach circuit processing 5,500 tonnes per day ("tpd") (1.9 million tonnes per annum ("Mtpa")) over a 10.6-year mine life. The PEA modelled a base case after-tax net present value at a 5% discount rate ("NPV5%") of US$532 million and an after-tax internal rate of return ("IRR") of 42.4%, utilizing a base case gold price of US$3,500 per ounce ("oz"), supported by a stable production profile averaging 51,250 oz of gold annually.

The PEA is preliminary in nature and includes inferred mineral resources, which are considered too speculative geologically to have the economic considerations applied to them that would enable them to be categorized as Mineral Reserves. There is no certainty that the PEA, including the conceptual economics set out therein, will be realized.

Further information about the PEA referenced in this news release, including information in respect of data verification, key assumptions, parameters, risks and other factors, can be found in the technical report titled "NI 43-101 Technical Report and Preliminary Economic Assessment, São Jorge Project, Pará State, Brazil" with an effective date of June 9, 2026 (the "Technical Report"), which is available under the Company’s profile on SEDAR+ at www.sedarplus.ca.
