Metal markets were highly volatile in 2025. The spot gold price increased to $4,307.95 per ounce, silver ended the year at $71.99 per ounce after a 149% annual gain, platinum closed at $2,027 per ounce, up 121.8%, and palladium finished at $1,567 per ounce, up 72.4%. These moves, driven by tariffs, geopolitical tensions, central-bank buying and changing automotive and industrial demand, directly affected the Trust’s net asset value.
