On 6 November 2025, 26,782,800 ordinary shares of US$0.50 each in HSBC Holdings plc (the "Company") were cancelled. These ordinary shares were awaiting cancellation having previously been repurchased on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under the Company's buy-back announced on 31 July 2025.

Following cancellation of those shares, the Company has 17,175,239,862 ordinary shares in issue. No shares are held in treasury.
