Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation (HYMC) reported additional high-grade drill results from its 2025-2026 Exploration Drill Program at the Hycroft Mine in Nevada, covering the Vortex and Brimstone high-grade silver systems. At Vortex, notable intercepts include 30.5 meters at 780.53 g/t silver in hole H26D-6090 and 20.0 meters at 460.82 g/t silver in hole H26D-6166, with multiple thick, continuous high-grade silver intervals that the company states extend the system and keep mineralization open in several directions. Hole H26D-6172 also intersected a 6.1-meter interval at 21.12 g/t gold, including 1.5 meters at 43.00 g/t gold, which the company plans to follow up to assess whether it represents a separate high-grade gold system. At Brimstone, hole H26D-6167A returned 5.5 meters at 1,345.27 g/t silver, including 1.8 meters at 4,074.00 g/t silver, which Hycroft states opens new target opportunities for follow-up drilling.

Tier-1 mining jurisdiction technical
"Hycroft Mine, located in Nevada, USA, a Tier-1 mining jurisdiction"
A tier-1 mining jurisdiction is a country or region widely regarded as low-risk for mining projects because it offers stable politics, clear laws, reliable permitting, good infrastructure and low corruption. For investors, it means lower chances of costly delays, legal disputes or expropriation, so projects there are more likely to get financing and reach production — like building in a well-regulated neighborhood versus a risky backlot.
heap leach operations technical
"With a long history of heap leach operations, Hycroft is advancing"
Heap leach operations are a low-cost mining method where crushed ore is piled into a lined pad and a liquid solution is trickled through the pile to dissolve and collect valuable metals like gold, copper or silver. For investors, this matters because heap leaching can significantly lower production costs and speed up cash flow, but it also concentrates environmental, regulatory and closure risks tied to chemical use, water management and long-term site cleanup.
Qualified Person regulatory
"The Company’s Qualified Person for exploration is Alex Davidson"
A qualified person is someone with specialized knowledge, experience, and training in a particular field, allowing them to accurately assess and verify information or work. Their expertise helps ensure that reports, evaluations, or decisions are trustworthy and meet required standards. For investors, a qualified person provides confidence that the information they rely on is credible and properly validated.
exploration target technical
"Any exploration target described in this press release does not represent"
An exploration target is an early estimate of how much mineral material might exist in a specific area and how concentrated or valuable that material could be, made before detailed drilling and analysis produce a formal resource figure. For investors, it acts like a rough treasure map: it highlights potential upside and guides decisions on funding further work, while also signalling higher uncertainty and risk until confirmation is completed.

FAQ

What did HYMC announce in its latest 8-K about the Hycroft Mine drill results?

Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation announced additional results from its 2025-2026 Exploration Drill Program at the Hycroft Mine, highlighting new high-grade silver and gold intercepts at the Vortex and Brimstone systems and stating that these support continued follow-up drilling.

What are the key Vortex drill intercepts reported by HYMC?

Key Vortex results include 30.5 meters at 780.53 g/t silver in hole H26D-6090 and 20.0 meters at 460.82 g/t silver in hole H26D-6166, along with several other thick silver intervals that the company says extend the high-grade system and remain open in multiple directions.

Did HYMC report significant gold grades in the new drill results?

Yes. Hole H26D-6172 at Vortex intersected 6.1 meters at 21.12 g/t gold, including 1.5 meters at 43.00 g/t gold. Hycroft states it is planning follow-up drilling to determine the orientation and extent of this higher-grade gold mineralization.

What high-grade results did HYMC report from the Brimstone system?

At Brimstone, hole H26D-6167A cut a silicified breccia zone with 5.5 meters at 1,345.27 g/t silver, including 1.8 meters at 4,074.00 g/t silver. The company notes that this intercept extends mineralization to the north and creates additional targets for follow-up drilling.

Who is the Qualified Person for HYMC’s exploration results?

The Qualified Person for Hycroft’s exploration work is Alex Davidson, Vice President, Exploration. He is stated to have reviewed and approved the scientific and technical information contained in the news release attached to the 8-K.

How does HYMC calculate AgEQ and AuEQ in these drill results?

Hycroft states that it uses $3,600 per ounce gold and $48 per ounce silver to calculate gold equivalent (AuEQ) and silver equivalent (AgEQ) values for the reported drill intercepts.

What cautions does HYMC give about the forward-looking nature of these drill results?

Hycroft characterizes many statements as forward-looking and cites risks including operational changes at the Hycroft Mine, absence of a completed feasibility study, metallurgical and processing risks, commodity price fluctuations, and the possibility that exploration targets may not become mineral resources.

Diane Garrett, Executive Chairman and CEO, commented: “These are some of the strongest results we’ve seen from the Drill Program. We’re not just confirming the high-grade silver system, we’re extending it and are consistently intersecting thick, continuous, high-grade mineralization. We have also intersected a high-grade gold interval higher in the known system that we intend to follow up on as we are seeing an increasing number of higher-grade gold intercepts in this area of Vortex. These results continue to confirm our exploration strategy and underpin the potential for a high-grade underground mine. With the system open in all directions and at depth, we see a clear opportunity for continued expansion and growth of these high-grade mineralized systems.”

Vortex Results

Hole H26D-6090 and H26D-6166 returned 30.5 meters at 780.53 g/t silver and 20.0 meters at 460.82 g/t silver, respectively. Both were drilled offsetting H25D-6070 and H25D-6072 and connect that 2025 step-out drilling to the main Vortex trend. Mineralization remains open to the west, down dip along the Central and Albert faults, currently interpreted as two of the more productive feeder structures at Vortex, and to the north and south.

Holes H26D-6172 tested the northern flank of Vortex and hit four separate silver intervals down hole in the footwall of the Break fault: 23.0 meters at 137.23 g/t silver and 0.69 g/t gold, 12.3 meters at 112.91 g/t silver and 0.25 g/t gold, 21.7 meters at 121.94 g/t silver and 0.89 g/t gold, and 11.1 meters at 177.97 g/t silver and 0.62 g/t gold, demonstrating the vertical continuity and extent of Vortex in this area.

H26D-6173, drilled down dip to the west of H26D-6172, returned 7.4 meters at 134.13 g/t silver, including 2.7 meters at 284.05 g/t silver, and 6.1 meters at 33.99 g/t silver and 2.63 g/t gold. These results further extend the high-grade continuity along the northern flank of the system.

Hole H26D-6172 also returned a high-grade gold interval higher in the hole, 6.1 meters at 21.12 g/t gold, including 1.5 meters at 43.00 g/t gold. This intercept lies higher in the Vortex high-grade silver system. With an increasing number of higher-grade gold intercepts in this area, the Company is planning follow-up drilling to determine the orientation and extent of this mineralization and whether it represents a separate high-grade gold system.

Brimstone Results

At Brimstone, the strategy is to develop the high-grade stockwork vein zone, test the controls on mineralization to the north, south and down dip, and identify and develop high-grade opportunities. Hole H26D-6167A was designed to test and extend high-grade mineralization to the north. The hole encountered a 30-meter silicified breccia that hosted high-grade silver, intersecting 5.5 meters at 1,345.27 g/t silver, including an impressive 1.8 meters at 4,074.00 g/t silver. This intercept opens up additional target opportunities and follow-up drilling is being planned.
