Insights

TL;DR: Routine interim dividend conversion announced; sterling payout set at 43.3p using a transparent three-day FX average.

The announcement is a standard corporate action translating the previously-declared US-dollar dividend into Pence Sterling for ordinary shareholders. The methodology is explicit: a three-working-day average of the WMR closing mid-point spot rate as published in the Financial Times, resulting in an exchange rate of a31:US$1.3542 and a per-share payment of 43.3p. This is procedural and does not change the declared US-dollar dividend amount or indicate operational performance shifts.

TL;DR: Clear procedural disclosure with defined FX methodology; good governance practice for shareholder communications.

The filing provides the required disclosure for converting a USD-denominated interim dividend into local currency for payment, naming the exchange-rate source and averaging period. Contact details for investor relations are included, and the disclosure reiterates corporate and brand information. The communication meets transparency expectations for a foreign private issuer making a currency conversion for dividend payments.
