Rhea-AI Filing Summary

IN8bio (INAB) reported a third-quarter 2026 net loss of $4.592 million, compared with $3.854 million in the prior-year quarter. Research and development expense was $2.599 million versus $2.104 million, primarily reflecting preclinical costs for its T-cell engager platform; general and administrative expense was $2.122 million versus $1.863 million. For the first nine months, net loss was $14.463 million, compared with $14.498 million in 2025. Cash was $13.973 million as of September 30, 2026, compared with $27.092 million as of December 31, 2025.

Oxana Polyakova, Ph.D., joined as Senior Vice President of Research & Development in September 2026. IN8bio said it remains on track to report initial in vivo preclinical data for INB-619 by year-end 2026; the candidate is being studied for potential applications in oncology and autoimmune diseases. An October 2026 Nature Reviews Drug Discovery review noted INB-619's ability to activate and expand tissue-resident Vδ1 and circulating Vδ2 γδ T cells in vitro. Phase 1 data for INB-200 in newly diagnosed glioblastoma were published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology in July 2026.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

γδ T cells medical
"developing γδ T cell therapies and T cell engagers"
A small subset of T lymphocytes that carry a distinct gamma-delta (γδ) T-cell receptor and act as a rapid-response link between the body’s immediate, non-specific defenses and its slower, targeted immune response. Like a neighborhood watch that can both spot unusual activity and call in specialists, they can quickly recognize stressed, infected, or tumor cells and influence inflammation and immune memory, making them a target or biomarker in drug development, clinical trials, and regulatory assessments that affect biotech valuation.
T cell engagers (TCEs) medical
"T cell engagers (TCEs) for cancer and autoimmune diseases"
T cell engagers are a class of engineered drugs that act like a molecular bridge, binding a patient’s T cells on one side and disease cells (often cancer cells) on the other to force the immune system to kill the targeted cells. They matter to investors because successful T‑cell engager programs can produce highly effective, high‑value therapies but carry significant clinical, regulatory and manufacturing risks, so trial results, approvals and scale-up directly influence a company’s value.
in vivo technical
"initial in vivo preclinical data for INB-619"
In vivo describes tests or experiments performed inside a living organism, such as an animal or human, to observe how a drug, device or biological process behaves in a real, functioning body. Investors care because in vivo results reveal safety, effectiveness and possible side effects that lab tests cannot, much like road-testing a prototype car in traffic rather than only on a bench — outcomes can strongly influence regulatory approval, clinical success and a company’s valuation.
haploidentical stem cell transplantation medical
"undergoing haploidentical stem cell transplantation"
