InMode (Nasdaq: INMD) Q2 2026 profit falls as margins narrow
InMode Ltd. reported consolidated results for the second quarter of 2026. GAAP revenue was $95.6 million, essentially unchanged from the second quarter of 2025, with Asia delivering a quarterly record and consumables and service revenue rising 13% to $22.3 million, driven mainly by international markets.
Profitability contracted. GAAP gross margin was 75% versus 80% a year earlier, GAAP operating margin was 13% versus 24%, and GAAP net income was $17.1 million, or $0.29 per diluted share, compared with $26.7 million, or $0.42 per diluted share. On a non-GAAP basis, net income was $20.8 million, or $0.35 per diluted share, versus $30.1 million and $0.47. Management attributed the margin pressure to higher cost of goods sold, product mix, North America sales team restructuring, additional marketing and sales investments, and higher professional services costs, and stated it expects these trends to continue for the foreseeable future.
Cash, marketable securities and short-term deposits totaled $501.1 million as of June 30, 2026. The company completed repurchases of 6.38 million ordinary shares for $87.8 million under its buyback program. A new board chair and chief financial officer took office in May 2026. Operations have not been materially affected to date by regional conflicts in and around Israel.
