Insights

Backtested history and narrow volatility target define the index's design and key risks.

The supplement presents a long backtest window (1990–2021) and actual performance through May 31, 2026, using the current index methodology. It notes a target volatility of 3.0% and a daily-deducted fee of 0.95% per annum, which materially affect net returns.

The methodology relies on notional exposures and futures; outcomes depend on margining, roll yields, and correlation between equity and bond constituents. Subsequent pricing supplements and product terms will determine investor payoffs; review those documents for precise payoff mechanics and credit exposure to JPMorgan entities.
