Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc. (KPTI) and its subsidiary KPT Texas LLC filed voluntary Chapter 11 petitions on November 2, 2026. How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Form 25‑NSE is an official filing used to notify the stock exchange that a company’s securities are being removed from trading on that exchange, similar to handing in a key when a shop closes. Investors care because removal ends public trading on that venue, often cutting liquidity and making it harder to buy or sell shares, which can affect a stock’s price and how quickly investors can access cash or exit positions.

Item 3.01.

Notice of Delisting or Failure to Satisfy a Continued Listing Rule or Standard; Transfer of Listing.

As previously disclosed, on November 2, 2026, Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc. (the “Company”) and its subsidiary, KPT Texas LLC (together with the Company, the “Debtors”) filed voluntary petitions (the “Bankruptcy Petitions”) under Chapter 11 of title 11 of the United States Code (the “Bankruptcy Code”) in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division (such court, the “Court” and such cases, the “Cases”).

On November 4, 2026, the Company received written notice (the “Delisting Notice”) from the staff of The Nasdaq Stock Market (“Nasdaq”) notifying the Company that, as a result of the Bankruptcy Petitions and in accordance with Nasdaq Listing Rules 5101, 5110(b) and IM-5101-1, the staff of Nasdaq determined that the Company’s securities will be delisted from Nasdaq. In the Delisting Notice, the staff of Nasdaq referenced that its determination was based on several factors including (i) the Bankruptcy Petitions and associated public interest concerns raised by them; (ii) concerns regarding the residual equity interest of the existing listed security holders; and (iii) concerns about the Company’s ability to sustain compliance with all requirements for continued listing on Nasdaq. The Delisting Notice also indicated that the Company may appeal Nasdaq’s determination pursuant to Nasdaq Listing Rule 5800 Series. The Company will not appeal this determination.

Trading of the Company’s common stock will be suspended on Nasdaq at the opening of business on November 11, 2026 and a Form 25-NSE will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which will remove the securities from listing and registration on Nasdaq. As a result of the delisting, the common stock is expected to begin trading on an over-the-counter market on or after November 11, 2026. On an OTC market, shares of the Company’s common stock, which previously traded on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol KPTI, are expected to trade under the symbol KPTIQ.

Cautionary Statements Regarding Trading in the Company’s Securities

The Company’s securityholders are cautioned that trading in the Company’s securities during the pendency of the Cases is highly speculative and poses substantial risks and that no assurance can be made that trading in the Company’s common stock on an OTC market will commence or be maintained. Trading prices for the Company’s securities may bear little or no relationship to the actual recovery, if any, by the Company’s securityholders in the Cases. The Joint Prepackaged Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization of the Debtors filed with the Court on November 2, 2026 provides that holders of the Company’s common stock and the 0% Series A Convertible Perpetual Preferred Stock will not receive any payment or other distribution on account of such securities. Accordingly, the Company urges extreme caution with respect to existing and future investments in its securities. In particular, the Company expects that its existing equity securities will have no value and that holders of such securities will experience a complete loss on their investment.
