Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Rhea-AI Filing Summary

MaxsMaking Inc. (MAMK) said Nasdaq’s Hearings Panel denied its request to reinstate trading and determined to delist its securities on October 7, 2026. The Panel cited insufficient liquidity, including a lack of sufficient public float, investor base, or trading interest to support a fair and orderly market. It stated that public investors held 10% of outstanding shares.

The SEC suspended trading in the securities from November 17, 2025, to December 1, 2025; trading on Nasdaq has been halted since December 2, 2025. MaxsMaking requested review by the Nasdaq Listing and Hearing Review Council. The request does not stay the suspension of trading.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Filing Explained

Beyond the liquidity concerns already reported, the filing says the Hearings Panel based its October 7 decision principally on trading activity it viewed as indicative of potential manipulation.

Shares held by public investors 10% of outstanding shares Percentage stated by the Nasdaq Hearings Panel
Nasdaq hearing August 27, 2026 Hearing before the Nasdaq Hearings Panel
Panel decision October 7, 2026 Decision denying reinstatement and determining to delist the securities
SEC trading suspension November 17, 2025 to December 1, 2025 Period during which the SEC suspended trading in the securities
Nasdaq trading halt Since December 2, 2025 Trading in the securities was halted on Nasdaq
public float financial
"lacks sufficient public float, investor base, or trading interest"
Public float is the total number of a company's shares that are available for trading by the general public. It excludes shares held by company insiders or large stakeholders who are unlikely to sell them easily. This figure helps investors understand how much of the company's stock is actively available, which can influence its liquidity and how easily its price might change.
fair and orderly market regulatory
"necessary to maintain a fair and orderly market"
Listing and Hearing Review Council regulatory
"requested that the Nasdaq Listing and Hearing Review Council review"
A listing and hearing review council is a panel that decides whether a company can join or stay on a stock exchange and handles appeals or disputes about those decisions, similar to a small court for the exchange. It matters to investors because its rulings affect which stocks are tradable, the rules companies must follow, and outcomes of fairness or disciplinary cases—factors that influence market access, liquidity, and risk.

Nasdaq Delisting Decision

As previously disclosed, MaxsMaking Inc. (the “Company”) received a Staff Delisting Determination (the “Staff Determination”) from the Listing Qualifications Department of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”) notifying the Company that Nasdaq had determined to delist the Company’s securities pursuant to its discretionary authority under Nasdaq Listing Rule IM-5101-4. The Company appealed the Staff Determination by requesting a hearing before the Nasdaq Hearings Panel (the “Panel”) pursuant to Nasdaq Listing Rule 5815. The hearing was held on August 27, 2026.

On October 7, 2026, the Company received a notice from Nasdaq (the “Panel Decision”) notifying the Company that the Panel had determined to deny the Company’s request to reinstate trading on Nasdaq and to delist the Company’s securities. The Panel based its decision principally on trading activity indicative of potential manipulation and the Company’s failure to demonstrate sufficient liquidity to support a fair and orderly market. The Panel concluded that given the history of the trading in the Company’s securities, and the fact that only 10% of all outstanding shares are held by public investors, the risk of manipulation, or attempted manipulation, is too high to warrant lifting of the trading halt and the Panel agreed that the Company’s security lacks sufficient public float, investor base, or trading interest to support the depth and liquidity necessary to maintain a fair and orderly market. Trading in the Company’s securities was suspended by the Securities and Exchange Commission from November 17, 2025 to December 1, 2025, and thereafter, trading was halted on Nasdaq since December 2, 2025.

The Company has requested that the Nasdaq Listing and Hearing Review Council review the Panel Decision pursuant to Nasdaq Listing Rule 5820. A request for review by the Listing and Hearing Review Council does not stay the suspension of trading in the Company’s securities.
