regular quarterly cash dividend financial
"declared a regular quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of 17.5 cents"
A regular quarterly cash dividend is a set amount of money that a company pays to its shareholders four times a year, usually every three months. It provides investors with a steady income stream and signals that the company is generating consistent profits. For investors, receiving these payments can be a reliable way to earn returns and assess the company's financial stability.
shareholders of record financial
"dividend will be payable September 18, 2026 to shareholders of record on"
Shareholders of record are the people officially listed as owners of a company's stock on a specific date. This matters because only these shareholders are entitled to receive dividends or vote at company meetings. It's like being on the official guest list for a party—you get to enjoy the perks and have a say.
Lead Independent Director financial
"including three years as Chairman and three years as Lead Independent Director"
A lead independent director is a board member who is not part of company management and is chosen to coordinate and represent the other independent directors, often running sessions without the CEO, helping set meeting agendas, and serving as a liaison between shareholders and the board. For investors, this role signals stronger, more balanced oversight—like a neutral referee who helps ensure decisions are fair, transparent and focused on protecting shareholder interests.

"Statements in this release that are not strictly historical may be "forward-looking" statements"
Forward-looking statements are predictions or plans that companies share about what they expect to happen in the future, like estimating sales or profits. They matter because they help investors understand a company's outlook, but since they are based on guesses and assumptions, they can sometimes be wrong.
emergence from bankruptcy financial
"from its emergence from bankruptcy in the early 1990s, to its growth"
