How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Allowance for Funds Used During Construction financial
"Allowance for Funds Used During Construction"
Allowance for funds used during construction (AFUDC) is the accounting practice of adding the cost of borrowing money and using company funds while building long-term assets to the value of that asset instead of treating it as an immediate expense. For investors, AFUDC matters because it boosts reported profits and increases the company’s asset base today while deferring financing costs to future periods, similar to adding construction loan interest to the price of a house under renovation.
capitalizable costs financial
"partially offset by higher capitalizable costs"
Costs that are recorded on the balance sheet as part of an asset rather than expensed immediately, because they are expected to provide benefit over multiple reporting periods. For investors, capitalizable costs change how quickly expenses hit the income statement and how assets and profits are reported — like treating a big repair as a one-time investment that will be counted over years instead of a single, immediate bill.
Resiliency and Environmental System Improvement Charge regulatory
"Resiliency and Environmental System Improvement Charge petitions"
A resiliency and environmental system improvement charge is a fee added to customer bills to pay for upgrades that make infrastructure tougher against storms, outages, or pollution and to meet environmental rules. Think of it like a household surcharge to replace an old roof and install cleaner heating so the home lasts longer and meets new codes. For investors, it affects a utility’s revenue, cash flow and ability to recover upgrade costs through regulated rates.
Distribution System Improvement Charge regulatory
"Distribution System Improvement Charge petitions"
A distribution system improvement charge is a regulated surcharge utilities add to customer bills to recover costs for upgrading local power lines, poles, transformers and other delivery equipment. It matters to investors because it speeds up cost recovery and stabilizes a utility’s cash flow and earnings between full rate reviews—like allowing a homeowner to add a small, ongoing fee to pay for immediate repairs instead of waiting to save up for a big bill.
