On January 8, 2026, we issued a press release reporting on Donlin Gold
LLC signing a non-binding Letter of Intent for natural gas supply from the Alaska LNG Pipeline and the development of the infrastructure
needed to deliver the gas and power the Donlin Gold project A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and
incorporated herein by reference. A copy of the press release is also available on NOVAGOLD’s website at www.novagold.com.
