Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Inotiv, Inc. filed post-effective amendments to three shelf registration statements on Form S-3 to deregister all securities that remained unsold under those registrations. The company and certain subsidiaries filed voluntary Chapter 11 cases on June 3, 2026 to implement a prepackaged plan of reorganization. The plan was confirmed on July 14, 2026 and became effective on July 17, 2026, at which time Inotiv emerged from bankruptcy and all common shares and other equity interests were cancelled and terminated. "These Post-Effective Amendments are being filed by Inotiv, Inc."
Post-effective amendments are official updates filed with securities regulators after a registration statement or prospectus has become effective, used to correct, add, or clarify information about a securities offering. They matter to investors because they change the facts investors rely on—like terms, risks, or financial details—similar to a company releasing an updated product manual after launch; those changes can affect the value or risk of an investment decision.
