Insights

8-K attaches ASX disclosures and mentions potential share repurchases without details.

The filing confirms that News Corporation provided two exhibits to the ASX (Exhibit 99.1 and Exhibit 99.2) and that those exhibits include forward-looking statements including an intent to repurchase Class A and Class B common stock. The 8-K text does not disclose any authorization amount, timing, or repurchase mechanism.

This matters because repurchase language can signal capital-allocation intent, but here no quantitative authorization or program details are disclosed in the document provided, limiting immediate investor impact.
