How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

molecular residual disease (MRD) medical
"NeXT Personal molecular residual disease (MRD) test"
Molecular residual disease (MRD) is the tiny number of cancer cells that remain in a patient after treatment, detected by highly sensitive genetic or molecular tests that can find one cancer cell among thousands or millions of normal cells. MRD matters to investors because it helps predict the chance of relapse and influences whether additional treatment is given; MRD signals are increasingly used as early clinical trial or regulatory endpoints, so positive or negative MRD results can materially affect the market value of diagnostics and therapies—similar to an early warning that shapes future decisions.
ctDNA medical
"ctDNA detection rate at baseline"
Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) is tiny fragments of genetic material shed by cancer cells into the bloodstream, like breadcrumbs that can reveal a tumor’s presence and genetic makeup without needing a biopsy. For investors, ctDNA matters because tests and technologies that detect and analyze these fragments can speed diagnosis, track treatment response, and signal relapse, creating commercial opportunities in diagnostics, personalized therapies, and monitoring services.

"patients receiving neoadjuvant therapy (NAT)"
ultrasensitive range technical
"positive detections at T1 in the ultrasensitive range below 100 PPM"

Personalis Reports Third Quarter Results

Reports Q3 clinical test volume of 13,157, clinical revenue of $4.4 million and overall revenue of $25.6 million

FREMONT, Calif. – November 4, 2026 – Personalis, Inc. (Nasdaq: PSNL), a leader in advanced genomics for precision oncology, today reported financial and operational results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026.

Recent Strategic and Operational Highlights

●
Launched NeXT Personal® Real-Time Variant Tracker™: Commercially launched optional Real-Time Variant Tracker supplemental results in the NeXT Personal molecular residual disease (MRD) test report, which identify clinically relevant resistance and therapeutically targetable variants over time, during NeXT Personal testing.

●
Reported pre-interim results from prospective Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) B-STRONGER-1 study: Personalis’ study is a multi-site, prospective study evaluating ctDNA dynamics in stage I-III TNBC patients receiving neoadjuvant therapy (NAT). Results showed high sensitivity, achieving a 96% ctDNA detection rate at baseline with 83.3% of positive detections at T1 in the ultrasensitive range below 100 PPM. Also, the results showed an 82% ctDNA clearance rate following two cycles of NAT.

●
Demonstrated the value of ultrasensitive ctDNA for predicting early immunotherapy response: A study conducted with The University of California, San Diego (UCSD) for 55 patients across 8 metastatic cancer types showed that an ultrasensitive assay may provide resolution in cases of heterogeneous response to stratify patients with radiographically stable disease into distinct risk groups, and dynamic ctDNA monitoring during immunotherapy provides lead time for identifying patients at high risk of progression.

Third Quarter 2026 Financial Results Compared with Third Quarter 2025

●
Quarterly Revenue: Total revenue of $25.6 million compared with $14.5 million, primarily driven by growth in clinical test revenue, as well as core revenue from increased population sequencing and higher pharma testing services.

●
Core Revenue Streams: Revenue from pharma testing services and all other customers totaled $17.2 million compared with $13.2 million. Revenue from population sequencing (the VA MVP) totaled $4.0 million compared with $0.2 million.

●
Cash Position: Ended the quarter with approximately $190.6 million in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments.
