How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Adjusted EBITDA financial
"Total Adjusted EBITDA increased by 113% year-over-year"
Adjusted EBITDA is a way companies measure how much money they make from their core operations, like running a business, by removing certain costs or income that aren’t part of regular business activities. It helps investors see how well a company is doing without distractions from unusual expenses or gains, making it easier to compare companies or track performance over time.
undrawn revolver financial
"cash and cash equivalents of $659 million plus undrawn revolver"
An undrawn revolver is the unused portion of a company's revolving credit facility — like the available balance on a corporate credit card that the company can borrow from at any time. It matters to investors because it represents ready access to cash for operations, acquisitions, or emergencies without issuing new debt or equity, and it affects a firm's short-term liquidity, covenant headroom, and financial flexibility.
multicast networks technical
"includes multicast networks and original content"
A multicast network is a way of sending the same piece of data from one source to many recipients at once, like broadcasting a TV show so one transmission reaches many viewers simultaneously. For investors, multicast matters because it can cut bandwidth costs and improve scalability for businesses that distribute large amounts of identical data (live market feeds, video, software updates), which affects the profitability and infrastructure needs of telecom, cloud and content-delivery companies.
Total revenue $893 million +16% year over year
Adjusted EBITDA $213 million +113% year over year
Net income attributable to the Company $43 million Compared with a $1 million loss in the prior-year quarter

SINCLAIR REPORTS THIRD QUARTER 2026 FINANCIAL RESULTS

BALTIMORE (November 4, 2026) - Sinclair, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI), the "Company" or "Sinclair," today reported financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2026.

Highlights:
•Total Revenue increased by 16% and Total Adjusted EBITDA increased by 113% year-over-year
•Total Adjusted EBITDA of $213 million
•Political Advertising Revenue of $136 million, an increase of 55% versus 3Q22
•Full-year preliminary Political Advertising Revenue of approximately $455 million, an increase of $50 million above our prior political revenue record of $405 million in 2024 and $122 million above our prior mid-term political revenue record of $333 million in 2022
•As an update to our ongoing strategic review, we continue to evaluate various broadcast transactions and while pleased with some of the progress we have made so far, we believe opportunities still remain. We have also evaluated the separation of the Ventures portfolio through a spin-off, split-off, or other transaction, and have determined at this time not to separate Ventures in a standalone transaction. We will continue to evaluate all options that provide value creation for the Company’s stakeholders
•Increased Full Year 2026 Adjusted EBITDA guidance to a range of $825 million to $835 million

CEO Comment:
"Sinclair delivered strong third quarter results, with record mid-term political advertising revenue in both third and fourth quarters, and disciplined execution across the business. Political advertising revenue is expected to exceed our prior record year of 2024 as battleground races and the overall political environment helped drive record demand across our footprint. In addition, we have reached new network affiliation agreements with both ABC and CBS in recent weeks. Lastly, we are increasing our full year 2026 Adjusted EBITDA guidance to a range of $825 million to $835 million, which we note is higher than our 2024 Adjusted EBITDA of $816 million excluding the Diamond-related management fees received in that year."

Recent Developments:
Updated Full Year 2026 Guidance
•Increasing Total Company Adjusted EBITDA from a range of $730 million to $760 million to a range of $825 million to $835 million
•Total Company Revenue guidance increasing by $95 million at the mid-point of our new range
•Distribution and Core Advertising Revenue ranges tightened

2026 Midterm Election
•Political revenue of $136 million in the quarter is up 55% compared to the third quarter of the 2022 mid-term election cycle
•Full-year political revenue of approximately $455 million represents a record political year for Sinclair, besting the $405 million in political revenue in 2024

Balance Sheet
•Retired $25 million of B7 term loan at a discount and terminated the remainder of the B3 term loan
•Ended the third quarter with total liquidity of ~$1.4 billion consisting of cash and cash equivalents of $659 million plus undrawn revolver and accounts receivable facility capacity

Adjusted EBITDA is a non-GAAP operating performance measure that management and the Company’s Board of Directors use to evaluate the Company’s operating performance and for executive compensation purposes. The Company believes that Adjusted EBITDA provides useful information to investors by allowing them to view the Company’s business through the eyes of management and is a measure that is frequently used by industry analysts, investors and lenders as a measure of relative operating performance.

Adjusted EBITDA is provided on a forward-looking basis under the section entitled “Outlook” above. The Company has not included a reconciliation of projected Adjusted EBITDA to net income, which is the most directly comparable GAAP measure, for the periods presented in reliance on the unreasonable efforts exception provided under Item 10(e)(1)(i)(B) of Regulation S-K. The Company’s projected Adjusted EBITDA excludes certain items that are inherently uncertain and difficult to predict including, but not limited to, income taxes. Due to the variability, complexity and limited visibility of the adjusting items that would be excluded from projected Adjusted EBITDA in future periods, management does not rely upon them for internal use or measurement of operating performance, and therefore cannot create a quantitative projected Adjusted EBITDA to net income reconciliation for the periods presented without unreasonable efforts. A quantitative reconciliation of projected Adjusted EBITDA to net income for the periods presented would imply a degree of precision and certainty as to these future items that does not exist and could be confusing to investors. From a qualitative perspective, it is anticipated that the differences between projected Adjusted EBITDA to net income for the periods presented will consist of items similar to those described in the reconciliation of historical results below. The timing and amount of any of these excluded items could significantly impact the Company’s net income for a particular period. When planning, forecasting and analyzing future periods, the Company does so primarily on a non-GAAP basis without preparing a GAAP analysis.

In addition to the reconciliation of Adjusted EBITDA to its most directly comparable GAAP measure, net income, the Company also discloses a reconciliation of the Adjusted EBITDA of its segments to its more directly comparable GAAP measure, segment operating income.

Non-GAAP measures are not formulated in accordance with GAAP, are not meant to replace GAAP financial measures and may differ from other companies’ uses or formulations. Further discussions and reconciliations of the Company’s non-GAAP financial measures to their most directly comparable GAAP financial measures can be found on its website www.sbgi.net.
