How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Filing Explained

The Q3 adjusted-EBITDA reconciliation excludes two $17 million tax benefits; further proceedings may follow on the provision-release matter.

The Q3 reconciliation subtracts $17 million for a released remote-gaming-duty provision and $17 million in recovered Austrian gaming taxes from adjusted EBITDA.

The provision release followed a favorable tribunal decision on a 2018–2022 tax matter that may be subject to further proceedings; the Austrian recovery covers taxes paid for 2014–2022.

Adjusted EBITDA financial
"Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP financial measure"
Adjusted EBITDA is a way companies measure how much money they make from their core operations, like running a business, by removing certain costs or income that aren’t part of regular business activities. It helps investors see how well a company is doing without distractions from unusual expenses or gains, making it easier to compare companies or track performance over time.
Monthly Active Customers financial
"Monthly Active Customers increased by 9%"
IFRS 9 financial
"treated as derivatives under IFRS 9 ‘Financial Instruments’"
IFRS 9 is an international accounting rule for how companies record and report financial instruments such as loans, bonds and derivatives. It sets standards for how assets are classified and measured, how expected credit losses are estimated and when hedge protections can be shown, which affects reported profits and balance-sheet strength. For investors, it matters because it changes when and how quickly credit problems or market risks appear in financial statements—like updating a household budget to reflect likely future bills sooner.
revolving credit facility financial
"drawdown on the revolving credit facility"
A revolving credit facility is a type of loan that a business can borrow from whenever it needs money, up to a set limit. It’s like having a credit card for companies—allowing them to borrow, pay back, and borrow again as needed, providing flexibility for managing cash flow or funding short-term expenses.

Revising FY2026 guidance: Total Revenue between $2.525 and $2.575 billion and Adjusted EBITDA between $700 and $720 million

New York, NY – November 3, 2026 – Super Group (SGHC) Limited (NYSE: SGHC) (“SGHC”, the "Company" or “Super Group”), the parent company of Betway, a leading online sports betting and gaming business, and Spin, the multi-brand online casino, today announced its third quarter 2026 unaudited consolidated financial results.
Neal Menashe, Chief Executive Officer of Super Group, commented: “Q3 once again demonstrated the strength and resilience of our casino-led business model. Despite customer-friendly sports results, we continued to grow revenue and Adjusted EBITDA. Casino provides a durable earnings base that allows us to absorb short-term sports volatility. We also delivered strong profitability across Africa, and International made meaningful progress across product, pricing and technology. We believe that our underlying business remains strong, and we look forward to the opportunities ahead.”
Alinda van Wyk, Chief Financial Officer of Super Group, stated: “Revenue increased 10% to $611 million and Adjusted EBITDA increased to $165 million with a margin of 27%. Customer-friendly sports outcomes impacted revenue by approximately $40 million and Adjusted EBITDA by around $25 million. Casino gross revenue increased 16%, while our long-term sports margin remains within our expected structural range. Our revised guidance reflects customer-friendly sports outcomes. With over $600 million of cash and a robust balance sheet, the Board has authorized a share repurchase program of up to $150 million, reflecting our confidence in the long-term value of Super Group while preserving flexibility to continue investing in attractive organic and strategic opportunities."

Non-GAAP Financial Information
This press release includes non-GAAP financial information not presented in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) as issued by the International Accounting Standards Board.
Adjusted EBITDA is a non-GAAP company-specific performance measure that Super Group ("the Group") uses to supplement the Company’s results presented in accordance with IFRS. EBITDA is defined as profit before depreciation, amortization, finance income, finance expense and income tax expense. Adjusted EBITDA is EBITDA adjusted for unrealized foreign exchange, RSU expense, impairment of assets, provision for remote gaming duty, provision for penalties, gaming taxes recovered, change in fair value of earnout liability and other adjustments.
Super Group believes that these non-GAAP measures are useful in evaluating the Group's operating performance as they provide additional perspective on the financial performance of the Group's core business, are similar to measures reported by the Company’s public competitors and are regularly used by securities analysts, institutional investors and other interested parties in analyzing operating performance and prospects.
Management does not consider these non-GAAP measures in isolation or as an alternative to financial measures determined in accordance with IFRS. The principal limitation of these non-GAAP financial measures is that they exclude significant expenses that are required by IFRS to be recorded in Super Group’s financial statements. In order to compensate for these limitations, management presents non-GAAP financial measures together with IFRS results. Non-GAAP measures should be considered in addition to results and guidance prepared in accordance with IFRS, but should not be considered a substitute for, or superior to, IFRS results.
Reconciliation tables of the most comparable IFRS financial measure to the non-GAAP financial measures used in this press release, and supplemental materials are included below. Super Group urges investors to review the reconciliation and not to rely on any single financial measure to evaluate its business. In addition, other companies, including companies in our industry, may calculate similarly named non-GAAP measures differently than we do, which limits their usefulness in comparing our financial results with theirs.
This press release also includes certain projections of certain financial measures not presented in accordance with IFRS. Due to the high variability and difficulty in making accurate forecasts and projections of some of the information excluded from these projected measures, together with some of the excluded information not being ascertainable or accessible, we are unable to quantify certain amounts that would be required to be included in the most directly comparable IFRS financial measures without unreasonable effort.
