foreign private issuer regulatory
"Form 6-K REPORT OF FOREIGN PRIVATE ISSUER PURSUANT TO RULE 13a-16"
A foreign private issuer is a company organized outside the United States that meets tests showing it is primarily foreign-controlled and therefore qualifies for a different set of U.S. reporting rules. For investors, that means the company files less frequent or differently formatted disclosures with U.S. regulators and may follow home-country accounting and governance practices, so buying its stock is like dining at a well-reviewed restaurant that follows its home kitchen’s rules instead of the local menu — you get access but should check what standards apply.
direct lithium extraction technical
"via the application of a scalable and fully integrated direct lithium extraction"
A method for pulling lithium directly out of salty water or other raw sources using special materials and electrical or chemical processes, instead of relying on long evaporation ponds or mining rock. It matters to investors because it can speed up production, lower costs and environmental impact, and make lithium supply for batteries more reliable—like replacing a slow, weather-dependent harvest with a faster, machine-driven picker that boosts output and predictability.
Smackover Formation technical
"The Company’s flagship projects are in the Smackover Formation, an attractive lithium"
A thick, ancient layer of limestone and dolomite rock in the Gulf Coast region that can act like a sponge, holding oil and natural gas within its pores and fractures. Investors care because the presence, quality and accessibility of hydrocarbons in this formation affect a producer’s potential reserves, drilling costs and future revenue — similar to how finding a larger, easier-to-drain water well increases the value of a property.
greenfield project technical
"advancing the South West Arkansas project, a greenfield project located in southern"
A greenfield project is a new investment where a company builds operations, facilities, or infrastructure from scratch on undeveloped land rather than modifying existing assets. For investors, it means potential for long-term growth and higher initial costs and risks—like planting a new orchard that can yield fruit for years but needs more time, money and care before producing returns—so it affects capital allocation, timelines and risk profiles.
lithium-brine properties technical
"development of a portfolio of large, high-grade lithium-brine properties in the United"
