Vale announces partial resumption of operations at the Fábrica Mine

 

Rio de Janeiro, September 23, 2026 – Vale S.A. ("Vale" or the "Company") announces that it will begin the partial resumption of operations at the Fábrica Mine, located in Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, pursuant to authorization granted by the Court of Justice of the State of Minas Gerais. The measure is based on a Commitment Agreement entered into by the Company, the State Public Prosecutor's Office, and the State of Minas Gerais.

 

The resumption of operations will comply with the applicable safety requirements, environmental controls, licenses, authorizations, and conditions, as well as with the continued implementation of the actions established under the Commitment Agreement. The Company reinforces that the resumption does not change its current production guidance.
