Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Rhea-AI Filing Summary

XTI Aerospace, Inc. reported second-quarter results; its unaudited supplemental combined presentation, combining XTI and Drone Nerds as if operated together, showed revenue of $32.449 million, up 29% from $25.130 million. Supplemental combined gross profit was $5.643 million, down 7%, and net loss from continuing operations was $0.850 million versus $13.267 million. This illustrative presentation excludes non-recurring transaction-related costs associated with the Drone Nerds acquisition and is not Article 11 pro forma financial information.

XTI’s consolidated net loss was $2.450 million for the quarter. Unrestricted cash was $7.214 million and borrowing-base availability under its credit facility was $9.1 million at June 30, 2026. Preliminary unrestricted cash was $5.1 million at September 30, 2026. Preliminary third-quarter monthly operating cash outflows for ADS and corporate operations, excluding Drone Nerds, averaged approximately $1.1 million, down approximately 42% from the second quarter and 62% from the first quarter. XTI expects a transition to positive net cash provided by operating activities during the fourth quarter of 2026.

The 2026 outlook assumes continued access to the asset-based credit facility and no material further changes in tariff policy. XTI lists substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern; September-quarter results remain preliminary pending completion of closing procedures.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

supplemental combined financial information financial
"unaudited supplemental combined financial information"
asset-based credit facility financial
"continued access to its asset-based credit facility"
A credit line that a lender extends to a company using the company’s tangible assets — such as accounts receivable, inventory, or equipment — as collateral; the amount the company can borrow rises and falls with the value of those assets. Think of it like a business version of a home equity line where unpaid invoices or stock on shelves serve as the lender’s security. Investors care because it affects a company’s ability to meet short-term obligations and grow: availability can signal healthy cash flow, while heavy reliance or tight terms can indicate financial strain and raise the risk that lenders could seize pledged assets.
borrowing base financial
"remaining availability on the borrowing base under its credit facility"
A borrowing base is the amount a lender will allow a company to borrow based on the value of assets the company offers as security, typically things like accounts receivable and inventory. It matters to investors because it sets a practical ceiling on short-term financing and influences a company’s liquidity and risk: if the borrowing base falls, the company may lose access to cash or be forced to sell assets, which can affect operations and share value.
warrant liability financial
"Change in fair value of warrant liability"
Warrant liability is the financial obligation a company records when it grants warrants—special options giving the holder the right to buy company shares at a set price in the future. It matters to investors because changes in this liability can affect a company's reported earnings and overall financial health, similar to how a pending contract can influence a company's future value.
going concern financial
"substantial doubt about the Company’s ability to continue as a going concern"
Going concern is the accounting assumption that a company will keep operating and meeting its obligations for the foreseeable future. The phrase matters most when a company or its auditors disclose substantial doubt about it, a formal warning that the business may not have enough resources to continue without raising money, restructuring, or selling assets. That language in a filing or press release signals elevated financial risk.

Unaudited Supplemental Combined Financial Information

For purposes of this release, references to “supplemental combined” financial information refer to the unaudited supplemental combined financial information described below.

The Company has provided unaudited supplemental financial information of the combined company in this press release. The following financial information combines XTI and Drone Nerds historical operating results as if the businesses had been operated together on a combined basis during prior periods. This financial information is intended to illustrate the current operating footprint of the Company following the acquisition of Drone Nerds and divestiture of the Company’s Industrial IoT / Real-Time Location Systems business.

The unaudited supplemental combined financial information is not “pro forma” financial information as that term is used in Article 11 of Regulation S-X. The unaudited supplemental combined financial information was not prepared in accordance with Article 11 of Regulation S-X and differs from the unaudited pro forma condensed combined financial information included in the Current Report on Form 8-K/A filed with the SEC on February 9, 2026 (the “Pro Forma 8-K Filing”), which was prepared in accordance with Article 11 of Regulation S-X and presented the year ended December 31, 2024 and the nine months ended September 30, 2025, which includes the 2025 periods shown in this press release, but did not present those periods separately. The unaudited supplemental combined financial information was not prepared in accordance with Article 11 of Regulation S-X and is presented for illustrative purposes to assist investors in understanding the operational performance of the combined business, timing and operational impact of the acquisition, and integration of the combined business, and should not be considered a substitute for the pro forma financial information included in the Company’s prior filings prepared in accordance with Article 11 of Regulation S-X.

2

Consequently, the unaudited supplemental combined financial information is intentionally different from, but does not supersede, the pro forma financial information set forth in the Pro Forma 8-K Filing or the pro forma financial information set forth in the Company’s most recent annual report on Form 10-K.

In addition, the unaudited supplemental combined financial information does not purport to indicate the results that actually would have been obtained had the companies been operated together during the periods presented, or which may be realized in the future. The unaudited supplemental combined financial information has no impact on XTI’s or Drone Nerds’ previously reported consolidated balance sheets or statements of operations, cash flows or equity.
