SANTA CLARA, Calif., Dec. 13, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Applied Materials, Inc. today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.40 per share payable on the company’s common stock. The dividend is payable on March 13, 2025 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 20, 2025.

The cash dividend is a key component of Applied’s capital allocation strategy. In March 2024, Applied announced a 25-percent increase in the dividend per share, from $0.32 to $0.40, marking the seventh consecutive year that the company has increased its dividend. Over the past 10 years, Applied’s dividend per share has grown at a compound annual growth rate of approximately 15 percent.

In the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024, Applied distributed $1.8 billion to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases. The company had approximately $8.9 billion remaining in its share repurchase authorization at the end of the period.
