Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Apimeds Pharmaceuticals US (APUS) subsidiary MindWave Innovations signed a two-year agreement with BlockAssure to build, deploy and operate AssureChain.

Effective October 4, 2026, the agreement makes MindWave the exclusive blockchain provider for the insurance and reinsurance network. MindWave will earn development fees in quarterly installments; later operating and maintenance fees remain to be agreed. It will receive 20% of AssureCoin's total supply when the planned token is created, fully vested on delivery, with anti-dilution protection during the term and for two years afterward. Development is planned over four quarters, with module acceptance testing by BlockAssure. MindWave provides technology; BlockAssure handles underwriting, claims decisions and licensing.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Key Terms

data oracle, anti-dilution, parametric claim
3 terms
data oracle technical
"AssureChain is made up of four modules and a data oracle"
A data oracle is a service or system that supplies external, real‑world information to an automated digital process that cannot directly access outside data — for example a smart contract, an algorithmic trading program, or a decision engine. It works by fetching, formatting and delivering specific data points (price feeds, weather readings, economic indicators, etc.) from external sources and presenting them through an interface or API; in blockchain contexts oracles may aggregate multiple sources and use cryptographic proofs to reduce single‑source trust. A key limitation is that the oracle itself becomes the bridge between the external world and the automated system, so its accuracy, timeliness and trustworthiness (and whether it is centralized or decentralized) directly affect the reliability of any decisions that depend on its data.
anti-dilution financial
"and anti-dilution terms maintain MindWave's 20% share"
A provision that protects an investor’s ownership stake or the value of convertible securities when a company issues new shares at a lower price. It adjusts the investor’s number of shares or the conversion price so their percentage of ownership or economic interest isn’t unfairly reduced — like getting a bigger slice of cake if the baker cuts more pieces, preserving your share of the whole.
parametric claim technical
"which lets a parametric claim trigger automatically"
A parametric claim is a claim under an insurance or risk-transfer contract that pays a preset amount when a specific, measurable parameter (for example, earthquake magnitude, wind speed, rainfall amount, or an index value) meets or exceeds a predefined trigger, rather than paying for the policyholder’s actual, itemized losses. Payouts are automatic or fast because they rely on objective data from agreed sources rather than on loss adjustment, and a key limitation is basis risk — the trigger can occur without corresponding actual loss or a loss can occur without the trigger being met.

AssureChain, a dedicated subnet of MindChain, will run every insurance function on-chain, while MindChain provides settlement and anchoring to Ethereum

MATAWAN, N.J., Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via IBN – MindWave Innovations Inc. USA ("MindWave"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Apimeds Pharmaceuticals US, Inc. (NYSE American: APUS), has signed a 2-year master maintenance and service agreement with Delaware-based BlockAssure Inc. ("BlockAssure") to build, deploy and operate AssureChain, a dedicated subnet of MindChain that will run BlockAssure's insurance and reinsurance operations on-chain.

For MindWave, this is an important expansion of its U.S. business. It takes the company's technology work into insurance and reinsurance, and it is a long-term build-and-operate contract with a U.S. client.

"BlockAssure chose us to build AssureChain, and it is exactly the kind of work we want to do for U.S. clients," said Dr. Vin Menon, Chief Executive Officer of MindWave Innovations Inc. USA.

MindWave will design, develop, security-audit and deploy AssureChain, then host, operate and maintain it once it goes live. All of BlockAssure's insurance work will happen on AssureChain: contracts, policies, premium and payment entries, reinsurance treaties and claims processing, from the start of a policy to the settlement of a claim. MindChain's job is narrower – It provides the settlement layer and anchors AssureChain's records to Ethereum.

MindWave will earn contracted development fees, payable in quarterly installments, with later operating and maintenance fees to be agreed. The agreement also provides for an allocation to MindWave equal to 20% of the total supply of AssureCoin, a digital token BlockAssure plans to create within the MindChain network, delivered when the token is created. The allocation is fully vested on delivery, and anti-dilution terms maintain MindWave's 20% share if additional AssureCoin is issued during the term or for two years afterward.

The aim is straightforward: BlockAssure handles the market relationships, and MindWave builds and runs the network underneath them. Contracts, policies, payments, treaties and claims all run on AssureChain. Because it settles through MindChain and anchors to Ethereum, you can follow any claim from the policy that created it to the recovery that closes it outFor the length of the agreement, MindWave is BlockAssure's exclusive blockchain provider for AssureChain.

The two companies have divided the work along clear lines. BlockAssure will lead underwriting and claims decisions, licensing, and its relationships with insurers, reinsurers and brokers. MindWave supplies the infrastructure and the technical services needed to run AssureChain. It acts only as the technology provider.

AssureChain is made up of four modules and a data oracle: insurance contracts; policy issuance and lifecycle management, including premium and payment entries; reinsurance treaties and facultative placements; and claims processing from notification through assessment, settlement and reinsurance recovery. The oracle feeds verified parametric, environmental, catastrophe, market and identity data onto AssureChain, which lets a parametric claim trigger automatically once a pre-agreed threshold is met.

Each claim on AssureChain can be traced back to the policy, contract and treaty it came from, and MindChain anchors those records to Ethereum. BlockAssure and its counterparties therefore work from one verifiable record, from placement to settlement. Each module will be independently security-audited before production, and personal data will not be written on-chain except in hashed or tokenized form.

The agreement took effect on Oct. 4, 2026. Development is planned over four quarters against agreed milestones, and BlockAssure will acceptance-test each module. Once the first module is accepted, MindWave takes on hosting, validator operations, maintenance, security patches and helpdesk support.

After the initial 2-year term, the agreement renews automatically for one-year periods unless either party gives 90 days' notice.
