Auro Metals (AURFF) reported new drill results and launched a 20,000m Phase II program at its Santa Barbara gold-copper project in Ecuador.
Phase I drilling is now complete, totaling 11,047.35m across 22 holes, with assays received for 17 holes and 5 pending. New results from Santa Barbara South include hole DSB-68, the longest and deepest hole drilled on the project, intersecting 905.22m grading 0.60 g/t gold and 0.12% copper from 56.5m to 961.72m. Hole DSB-69 returned 103.05m at 0.53 g/t Au and 0.09% Cu plus 200.55m at 0.59 g/t Au and 0.08% Cu, with a 57.83m sub-interval at 1.06 g/t Au. Hole DSB-70 cut 262.5m at 0.71 g/t Au and 0.10% Cu, including 100.45m at 1.01 g/t Au and 0.11% Cu.
The ongoing Phase II program aims to test gaps within the deposit, step out to new targets, probe depth extensions, and add infill drilling, supported by three additional KD1700 drill rigs and an upcoming metallurgical testwork program.
Auro Metals (OTCQB:AURFF) reported the fourth batch of assays from its 2026 Phase I drill program at the 100%-owned Santa Barbara gold-copper project in southeastern Ecuador. According to Auro, 22 holes have been completed and results for 14 holes are now available.
At Santa Barbara South, hole DSB-61 intersected 496.5m grading 0.76 g/t gold and 0.12% copper from 88.5m, including 212.5m at 1.12 g/t gold and 0.14% copper. Hole DSB-67 cut 380m grading 0.71 g/t gold and 0.10% copper from 76.5m, and hole DSB-66 returned 287m from surface grading 0.51 g/t gold and 0.08% copper. These results, together with earlier holes, indicate mineralization remains open up-dip, down-dip and at depth.
Auro also announced that its shares were uplisted to the OTCQB Venture Market effective July 29, 2026, and will continue trading under the ticker AURFF in the U.S. and AURO on the TSX Venture Exchange.
Auro Metals (OTC:AURFF) reported the third batch of assay results from its 2026 Phase I drill program at the 100%-owned Santa Barbara Gold-Copper Project in Ecuador. Four new holes at Santa Barbara South all intersected wide gold-copper mineralization from surface or near-surface, testing continuity and up‑dip/down‑dip extensions within the porphyry system.
Highlights include hole DSB-60 with 542 m grading 0.60 g/t gold and 0.12% copper from 198 m to 740 m, and DSB-63 with 143 m from surface grading 0.74 g/t gold and 0.10% copper, plus additional mineralized intervals. Hole DSB-62 cut 149.5 m at 0.66 g/t gold and 0.06% copper starting at 24 m, including 29.4 m at 1.53 g/t gold and 0.11% copper. Hole DSB-64 intersected 121.65 m at 0.44 g/t gold and 0.07% copper from 20.5 m. According to Auro, mineralization remains open in both up‑dip and down‑dip directions, 19 holes totaling 8,458.75 m have been completed, and assays for 10 holes have been received to date.
Auro Metals (OTC: AURFF, TSXV: AURO) reported the second batch of assay results from its 2026 Phase I drill program at the 100%-owned Santa Barbara Gold-Copper Project in southeastern Ecuador. Three holes (DSB-57, DSB-58, DSB-59) drilled in the Santa Barbara South area tested continuity and up-/down-dip extensions of known porphyry mineralization.
Key intercepts include 625.12 m grading 0.64 g/t gold and 0.10% copper from 81.43 m to end of hole in DSB-59, 130 m grading 0.60 g/t gold and 0.09% copper from 12.0 m in DSB-58, and 59 m grading 0.67 g/t gold and 0.10% copper from surface plus 37.5 m grading 0.50 g/t gold and 0.10% copper from 92.5 m in DSB-57.
According to Auro Metals, mineralization in these holes starts at or near surface, remains open up- and down-dip, and shows consistent gold-copper grades. Six holes now have assays, ten are pending, and four drill rigs remain active. QA/QC procedures were carried out by independent, ISO/IEC 17025-accredited SGS laboratories.
