Wellpoint and 98.5 The Sports Hub will honor each hometown hero by recognizing them at Bruins home games and through on-site visits to their place of work including fire houses, police stations, schools, and other locations to celebrate their nomination.
“We are honored to partner with Wellpoint again this year to shine a light on the many Hometown Heroes who give so much of themselves to helping others and making a positive difference in our communities,” said Mary Menna, VP and Market Manager, Beasley Media Boston.
Wellpoint invites the community to visit the contest page at 985thesportshub.com/heroes by March 27 to nominate a current state or municipal employee who makes a difference in your community. Selected individuals will score a pair of tickets to a Boston Bruins game and be recognized throughout the season.
