Bombardier Celebrates Two-Aircraft Order from Sojitz Corporation, Strengthening Trans-Pacific Business Aviation in Asia
Bombardier (OTC:BDRBF) announced on Oct 15, 2025 that Sojitz Corporation has ordered two aircraft: a Global 6500 and a Global 8000. The jets will form the basis of Sojitz’s Share Jet Program (SJP), described as Japan’s first large, ultra-long-range shared-ownership program capable of trans-Pacific operations.
The Global 8000 is slated to enter service before the end of 2025 and is described as the world’s fastest business jet with the longest range among four-zone aircraft and industry-leading landing capabilities. Bombardier says bespoke interiors and cabin comfort are central to the order, and the deal builds Bombardier’s presence in Japan and Asia.
