Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

About HeartBeam, Inc.

HeartBeam, Inc. (NASDAQ: BEAT) is a medical technology company dedicated to transforming the detection and monitoring of critical cardiac conditions. The Company has developed the first-ever cable-free device capable of collecting ECG signals in 3D, from three non-coplanar directions, and synthesizing the signals into a 12-lead ECG. This platform technology is designed for portable devices that can be used wherever the patient is to deliver actionable heart intelligence. Physicians will be able to identify cardiac health trends and acute conditions and direct patients to the appropriate care – all outside of a medical facility, thus redefining the future of cardiac health management. HeartBeam’s 3D ECG technology received FDA clearance for arrhythmia assessment in December 2024, and the 12-Lead ECG synthesis software received FDA clearance for arrhythmia assessment in December 20251. The technology is currently being studied for heart attack assessment and is considered investigational in that indication. The Company holds over 25 issued patents related to technology enablement. For additional information, visit HeartBeam.com.

1Cleared Indications for Use

The HeartBeam System with 12-Lead ECG synthesis software is FDA cleared for arrhythmia assessment only. The technology’s use for heart attack assessment is investigational and not FDA cleared. For full details on the intended use of the HeartBeam technology, refer to the Company’s Cleared Indications for Use and full instructions at https://www.heartbeam.com/indications.

Key Terms

ecg medical
An ECG (electrocardiogram) records the heart’s electrical activity through small sensors on the skin and produces a waveform that shows heart rate, rhythm and signs of stress or damage—think of it as a seismograph for the heart’s electrical signals. Investors care because ECGs are central to diagnosing and monitoring cardiac safety in clinical trials, required for regulatory approval of many drugs and devices, and drive demand for related medical equipment and services.
non-coplanar technical
Not lying in the same geometric plane; points, lines, or paths are non-coplanar when they cannot all be contained on a single flat surface. For investors, the term matters when it describes how a product, device, or process operates—for example, medical devices or antenna arrays that use non-coplanar arrangements can reach targets or cover space differently, affecting design complexity, manufacturing cost, and market differentiation.
fda clearance regulatory
FDA clearance is the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s official permission to market certain medical devices or diagnostic tests after reviewing evidence that they are as safe and effective as similar products already on the market. For investors, it’s like a product passing a required safety inspection — it reduces regulatory uncertainty, speeds commercial rollout, and can directly affect sales prospects, valuation, and partnership opportunities.
investigational regulatory
A product labeled investigational is one that is still being tested and has not received official regulatory approval for general use; think of it as a prototype undergoing controlled trials to prove it works and is safe. For investors, investigational status signals higher uncertainty and potential reward because success can unlock sales and value, while failure or delays can reduce expected returns and increase development costs.
