Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

severe alcohol-associated hepatitis medical
"patients hospitalized with severe alcohol-associated hepatitis"
An acute inflammatory liver condition caused by recent heavy alcohol use that produces jaundice and impaired liver function; 'severe' denotes cases with a high short-term risk of death based on established prognostic scores (commonly Maddrey’s discriminant function ≥32 or a high MELD score). Typical clinical features include recent onset of jaundice within weeks, elevated bilirubin, an AST-to-ALT ratio often >1.5 with modest transaminase elevations, and systemic signs of liver dysfunction. Diagnosis rests on the clinical history and laboratory pattern, requires exclusion of other causes of acute liver injury, and sometimes liver biopsy when the diagnosis is unclear.
overall survival medical
"Estimated overall survival at 12 months was 62.0%."
Overall survival is the average or median length of time patients remain alive after starting a treatment or entering a clinical study, measured regardless of cause of death. Investors care because it is a clear, hard measure of a therapy’s real-world benefit — like timing how long a new battery actually runs — and strong improvements in overall survival can drive regulatory approval, market adoption and revenue potential.
