BP Silver Corp. Intersects 142 Meters Grading 2.14% Zinc Equivalent, Including 59 Meters at 3.72% Zinc Equivalent and 2 Meters at 495 g/t Silver Equivalent
Two Pocañita Chica holes returned sub-economic silver mineralization, while Jalsuri North's extent and continuity remain unconfirmed.
Sentiment and the balance of points
Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.
Rhea-AI Summary
BP Silver (BPSCF) reported a 142-meter zinc-equivalent drill intersection at Jalsuri North within its Cosuño project in Bolivia. Hole CO-0015 returned 2.14% zinc equivalent from 5 to 147 meters, including 59 meters at 3.72% and 22 meters at 7.75% zinc equivalent. A silver-rich interval returned 2 meters at 249 g/t silver and 495.40 g/t silver equivalent from 35 to 37 meters. Equivalent grades combine multiple metals using assumed prices and recoveries.
The Phase 2 results also covered holes CO-0011 and CO-0014 at Pocañita Chica, where both intersected sub-economic silver mineralization. BP Silver interprets Jalsuri North as part of a potentially larger mineralized system. The zone remains open laterally and at depth, but its geometry, extent and continuity are unconfirmed; additional drilling is required to test the interpretation.
How this balance works
Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.
It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.
Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - October 20, 2026) - BP Silver Corp. (TSXV: BPAG) (OTCQB: BPSCF) ("BP Silver" or the "Company") announces new assay results from its Phase 2 diamond drilling program (the "Program") at the Cosuño Silver Project, ("Cosuño") in Bolivia, highlighting a significant new emerging polymetallic discovery at the Jalsuri North Target, where drilling has intersected broad intervals of zinc +/- silver mineralization.
HIGHLIGHTS
Mineralization is located approximately 3 kilometers from the high-grade silver Pocañita Chica occurrence and is interpreted to represent the upper and/or distal portions of a large intermediate sulfidation hydrothermal system. It remains open for expansion in all directions.
Hole CO-0015 intersected a 142 meter ("m") zinc-dominated intersection grading
1.42% zinc and 8.9 g/t silver (2.14% zinc equivalent) from 5 to 147 m,including 59 m grading
2.57% zinc and 12.25 g/t silver (3.72% zinc equivalent) from 5 to 64 m, and22 m grading
5.18% zinc and 27.7 g/t silver (7.75% zinc equivalent) from 19 to 41 m (Table 2 and Figure 2).
Hole CO-0015 also returned a 2 m silver-dominated intersection grading 249 g/t silver and
3.46% zinc (495.4 g/t silver equivalent) from 35 to 37 m, and 2 m grading 132.0 g/t silver and0.66% zinc (189.0 g/t silver equivalent) from 107 to 109 m (Table 1 and Figure 2).
Dr. Stewart D. Redwood, Director and Qualifying Person, stated: "The Bolivian Silver-Polymetallic Belt stands out compared to other silver belts globally because the Bolivian deposits contain a diverse array of precious metals and base metals, as well as strategic and critical elements, in addition to silver. These metals have the potential to provide valuable credits as by-products, leading to potentially higher NSRs, IRRs and NPVs. We are increasingly bullish on Cosuño given the discovery of high-grade bismuth, antimony, and now zinc to complement the high-grade silver. There are also significant grades of copper, gold, indium, lead and tin in some holes. The vertical and horizontal distribution of these metals will also give us valuable geological information about the zoning of the mineral deposit as we gather more data. During a recent site visit, I reviewed the core and was very pleased with what I observed. The number of metals identified to date, together with the grades encountered, makes Cosuño a unique system—something I have not seen before."
SUMMARY
Assay results have been received for three additional drill holes of the Phase 2 Drill Program: Drill-hole CO-0015 was completed at the Jalsuri North Target, while drill-holes CO-0011 and CO-0014 were completed at the Pocañita Chica Target (Figure 1, Table 1).
Polymetallic mineralization encountered by the Phase 1 and 2 drill programs was previously reported in the Company's news releases dated February 2, 2026, February 27, 2026, and September 29, 2026.
Drill hole CO-0015 intersected a 142 m interval of zinc-dominated mineralization at Jalsuri North, accompanied by additional metals, highlighting the polymetallic nature of this emerging discovery.
It is interpreted as the upper or distal levels of intermediate-sulfidation epithermal mineralized system occurring beneath the large, Cosuño lithocap, suggesting the potential for a large mineralized system at depth (Figure 2 and 3). Mineralization is hosted by andesite lavas forming the base of the volcanic sequence and by underlying conglomerates of the Upper Oligocene to Lower Miocene aged San Vicente Formation (host to Pan American Silver's San Vicente Mine).
Mineralization is controlled by a northwest-trending structure and occurs as breccia-hosted mineralization, veinlets, fillings within vesicles in the lavas, disseminations, replacement mineralization and within the conglomerate matrix (Figure 5A). Alteration includes silicification and chlorite-calcite alteration in the volcanic rocks, while the conglomerates exhibit clay or illite alteration associated with bleaching. The mineral assemblage consists primarily of sphalerite and pyrite, with minor chalcopyrite and galena, associated with quartz, calcite, barite and white clay minerals (smectite and/or dickite).
Tim Shearcroft, Founder and CEO, stated: "This discovery hole, featuring 59 meters grading
Jalsuri North Target
The most significant result came from drill hole CO-0015, which intersected 142 m @
The hole also returned significant silver mineralization, including 2.0 m @ 249.0 g/t silver (495.4 g/t silver equivalent) from 35.0 to 37.0 m. A further interval of 2.0 m @ 132.0 g/t silver (189.0 g/t silver equivalent) was intersected from 107.0 to 109.0 m (Table 1).
Additional assay results from CO-0015 included zinc grades of up to
Interpretation
Drill hole CO-0015 intersected structurally controlled intermediate sulfidation hydrothermal alteration and mineralization (veinlet and disseminated) developed across multiple lithological units (Figure 2 and 3).
The distribution of alteration, veinlets, and sulfides is consistent with structurally focused hydrothermal fluid flow affecting multiple host rocks. The dashed red envelope outlines the interpreted veinlet zone within the underlying volcano-sedimentary and volcaniclastic sequences, where veinlet development appears more dispersed and less continuous than in the upper andesite (Figure 2). The zone remains open laterally and at depth, although its extent and continuity are unconfirmed.
The projected geometry, lateral extent, and continuity of the structures and veinlet zone remain unconfirmed. The dashed red envelope is conceptual only and does not define a confirmed geological contact, assay-defined mineralized volume, or continuous mineralized interval. The Company cautions that additional drilling is required to test the interpretation.
Pocañita Chica Target
Drill holes CO-0011 and CO-0014 tested the mapped hydrothermal breccia corridor at Pocañita Chica (Figure 1). Both holes intersected anomalous but sub-economic silver mineralization (Table 1).
The results suggest that the holes may have intersected narrow feeder-related structures or mineralized splays within the broader Pocañita Chica hydrothermal breccia system, where thicker, higher-grade silver mineralization was intersected during Phase 1 and the current Phase 2 drill program in holes CO-0008, CO-0009 and CO-0013 (see news releases dated February 27, 2026 and September 29, 2026, respectively).
Vein and feeder structures are not uniformly mineralized, and intervals of low-grade or barren material can occur along their length. Accordingly, intersecting a feeder-related structure is an important step in understanding the hydrothermal system, but does not necessarily indicate continuous or economically significant mineralization. Further geological interpretation and drilling will be required to determine the continuity, geometry and significance of these structures and to identify zones of potentially higher-grade silver mineralization within the broader system.

FAQ
AI-generated questions and answers. How Rhea-AI works. Not financial advice.
What did BP Silver's CO-0015 drill hole find at Cosuño?
CO-0015 intersected 142 meters grading 2.14% zinc equivalent from 5 to 147 meters at Jalsuri North. This included 59 meters at 3.72% and 22 meters at 7.75% zinc equivalent. A separate silver-dominated reporting interval within the broad intersection returned 2 meters at 495.40 g/t silver equivalent from 35 to 37 meters.
How did BP Silver's Pocañita Chica drill holes perform?
Both newly reported Pocañita Chica holes intersected sub-economic silver mineralization. CO-0011 returned 25 meters at 18.32 g/t silver, while CO-0014 returned 5 meters at 14.19 g/t silver. BP Silver interprets these results as potentially representing narrow feeder-related structures or mineralized branches within the broader system.
What assumptions underpin BP Silver's Cosuño metal-equivalent grades?
The equivalent grades use 2025 average metal prices reported by the U.S. Geological Survey and assumed 90% recoveries for all metals. No metallurgical testing has established recoveries at Cosuño. These calculations are exploration tools, not estimates of recoverable metal content, net smelter returns or economic value.
