Bold Ventures Samples High Grade Gold at Traxxin Highlights Ring of Fire Progress
Results from 84 additional channel samples remain pending after further sampling along the eastern edge of the Traxxin Main Zone.
Sentiment and the balance of points
Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.
Rhea-AI Summary
Bold Ventures (BVLDF) reported preliminary fall channel-sampling results from its Traxxin Project in Ontario, with gold grades reaching 24.8 g/t. The 30 samples ranged from 0.009 to 24.8 g/t gold; six exceeded 5 g/t and 11 exceeded 1 g/t. Sampling focused on the upward projection of a vein intersected by drill hole TX-26-02, which previously returned 100.7 g/t gold over 2.95 meters.
Bold's technical team views the results as supporting its hypothesis of gold enrichment along the eastern side of the Traxxin shear zone. Results from 84 additional channel samples remain pending. Separately, the federal government matched Ontario's $1 billion pledge for Ring of Fire road construction. Bold holds mineral rights in the region, including a 10% carried interest in the Black Horse Chromite Deposit.

Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - October 28, 2026) - Bold Ventures Inc. (TSXV: BOL) (OTCQB: BVLDF) (the "Company" or "Bold") is pleased to announce preliminary results of the Fall channel sampling program at its Traxxin Project located 130 kilometers west-northwest of Thunder Bay, Ontario, and is also pleased to provide an update on Ring of Fire progress.
Mechanical stripping and channel sampling at the Traxxin Main Zone focused on the up-dip projection of a mineralized quartz vein intersected in hole TX-26-02 earlier this year, which returned 100.7 g/t gold over 2.95 meters, announced in a Bold news release dated June 25, 2026. Gold Results for 30 channel samples have now been received from the laboratory, ranging from 9 to 24,800 ppb gold (0.009 to 24.8 g/t), with 6 samples returning > 5 g/t gold and 11 samples returning >1 g/t gold. These results include the highest gold values in channel sampling to date at the Traxxin Main Zone as well as the densest concentration of anomalous gold values in channel samples to date. This supports the Bold technical team's hypothesis that the eastern side of the more than 20-meter wide Traxxin shear zone may be particularly enriched in gold mineralization. Full channel sample results are provided in Table 1 (below), and Figure 1 (below) shows the 2026 channel sampling results in conjunction with the 2021 channel sampling results (announced in a Bold news release dated January 12, 2022).

FAQ
AI-generated questions and answers. How Rhea-AI works. Not financial advice.
What gold grades did Bold Ventures report from Traxxin channel sampling?
Bold Ventures reported grades ranging from 0.009 to 24.8 g/t gold across 30 channel samples. Six samples exceeded 5 g/t gold, and 11 exceeded 1 g/t gold. These are preliminary results from the fall sampling program.
How does the Ring of Fire road funding relate to Bold Ventures?
Bold holds mineral rights in the Ring of Fire, including a 10% carried interest in the Black Horse Chromite Deposit. The federal government matched Ontario's $1 billion pledge toward road construction in the region; the funding is for roads, not a payment to Bold.
How will Bold Ventures use the final Traxxin channel-sampling results?
Bold expects the final channel-sampling results to help target upcoming drilling. Additional stripping and channel sampling have been completed along the gold-bearing vein at the eastern edge of the Traxxin Main Zone.
