Bold Ventures (OTCQB: BVLDF, TSXV: BOL) has initiated a follow-up program at its Traxxin Gold Project, 130 km west-northwest of Thunder Bay, Ontario, ahead of a new diamond drilling campaign in the coming weeks. The Spring 2026 program at the Traxxin Main Zone comprised two holes totaling 483 m.

Hole TX-26-02 returned an interval of 100.7 g/t gold over 2.95 m, including 0.60 m grading 476 g/t gold, within a quartz vein on the east side of the zone, plus an anomalous zone suggesting a parallel shear. TX-26-01 returned lower-grade anomalous intervals. Upcoming drilling will target the high-grade vein and the newly identified shear zone.

Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - August 20, 2026) - Bold Ventures Inc. (TSXV: BOL) (OTCQB: BVLDF) (the "Company" or "Bold") is pleased to announce that it has initiated a follow-up program at the Traxxin Gold Project (the "Project" or the "Property"), located 130 kilometers west-northwest of Thunder Bay, Ontario, in preparation for diamond drilling in the coming weeks. The final results from the Spring 2026 diamond drilling program have been received.

The Spring 2026 diamond drilling program at the Traxxin Main Zone (the "Main Zone" or the "Zone") consisted of two holes totalling 483 meters. The results from hole TX-26-02 were previously announced in a Bold news release dated June 25, 2026, including an interval of 100.7 g/t gold over 2.95 meters within a quartz vein on the east side of the Zone, hosting numerous specks of visible gold. An additional anomalous gold zone was intersected further downhole, suggesting a parallel gold-bearing shear zone to the east of the Main Zone.

Hole TX-26-01 was designed as a step-back hole from 2021 drillhole BV-21-04 (which yielded 3.6 g/t Au over 12.3 meters) and is collared the furthest west of all drilling to date. Anomalous gold values from hole TX-26-01 include 0.63 g/t gold over 1.0 meters and 0.60 g/t gold over 0.48 meters from shear-fracture zones with quartz veining within the host tonalite. Drillhole statistics are presented in Table 1 (below). A summary of the drill program results is presented in Table 2 (below).

Figure 1 Map shows 2026 drill collar locations relative to past work. See Traxxin Gold Project here.

A follow-up drilling program is planned to commence in the coming weeks and will target the gold-bearing vein intersected in hole TX-26-02. The gold-bearing vein was first intersected in a 2017 drillhole, BED-17-005, which returned 6.59 g/t gold over 2.7 meters. It was then exposed on surface in Bold's 2021 mechanical stripping program, with channel sampling results including 9.1 g/t gold over 0.9 meters. However, the high-grade potential of the vein was not fully appreciated until the 2026 drill program, which yielded the best visible gold since the original discovery at the Main Zone. The drill plan will test both the gold bearing vein and the newly identified shear zone to the east.

FAQ

What did Bold Ventures (BVLDF) announce about the Traxxin Gold Project on August 20, 2026?

Bold Ventures announced a follow-up exploration program at the Traxxin Gold Project, preparing for new diamond drilling. According to Bold Ventures, this follows its Spring 2026 program of two holes totaling 483 meters at the Traxxin Main Zone in northwestern Ontario.

What were the key gold assay results from hole TX-26-02 at Bold Ventures’ Traxxin project (BVLDF)?

Hole TX-26-02 intersected 100.7 g/t gold over 2.95 meters, including 0.60 meters grading 476 g/t gold. According to Bold Ventures, this high-grade quartz vein lies on the east side of the Traxxin Main Zone and delivered the best visible gold since the original discovery.

What gold results did hole TX-26-01 return in Bold Ventures’ Spring 2026 drilling at Traxxin (BVLDF)?

Hole TX-26-01 returned anomalous gold values of 0.63 g/t over 1.0 meter and 0.60 g/t over 0.48 meter. According to Bold Ventures, these intervals occur in shear-fracture zones with quartz veining within tonalite and represent the westernmost collar drilled to date.

What is the objective of the upcoming drilling program at Bold Ventures’ Traxxin Gold Project (BVLDF)?

The upcoming drilling aims to test the high-grade gold-bearing vein intersected in TX-26-02 and a new shear zone to the east. According to Bold Ventures, this follow-up will further evaluate the quartz vein first intersected in 2017 and later exposed in 2021 surface work.

How do the new Traxxin results compare with earlier Bold Ventures drilling and surface work (BVLDF)?

Earlier work included 6.59 g/t gold over 2.7 meters in 2017 and 9.1 g/t over 0.9 meters from 2021 channel sampling. According to Bold Ventures, the 2026 TX-26-02 interval represents the best visible gold since the original Main Zone discovery, highlighting the vein’s high-grade potential.

Who approved the technical information for Bold Ventures’ August 20, 2026 Traxxin release (BVLDF)?
