Following NASDAQ debut, FreeCast prioritizes investor relations and information environment.

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- FreeCast, Inc. (NASDAQ: CAST), a next-generation streaming media Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) company, today announced its launch on investor social media platform Stocktwits. In addition to committing to share announcements and news on the platform, the company is also investing in advertising for greater visibility to retail investors.

This embrace of Stocktwits and the broader retail investor community follows FreeCast’s March 10th listing on the Nasdaq stock exchange. Since then the company has highlighted the role of the markets and the associated information environment that comes with the reporting and disclosure requirements of being a public company. Given the importance of integrating that financial perspective into the company’s overall story, FreeCast is making a deliberate effort to speak not only to traditional financial industry professionals, but also to retail investors.

Stocktwits users can now follow the company on the platform by adding FreeCast to their watchlist. Across Stocktwits and other social media channels, company news will be posted with the cashtag $CAST. Followers of the company will have breaking access to the company’s press releases and other key announcements, news coverage, and first-party research from FreeCast.

FreeCast CEO William Mobley discussed the company’s philosophy on investor relations: “We’re a B2B business, a middleware provider, so understanding the financial side of our business is a big piece of our story, more significant than for a lot of the consumer-facing streaming brands. The information environment, as a public company, thus has a huge impact, and we want to take advantage of that. For many firms, the IR function is just talking to Wall Street and finance guys. That’s not our approach, we want to make sure we’re reaching the investing public just as much, if not more so.”

Key Terms

platform-as-a-service technical
A platform-as-a-service is a cloud-based product that provides developers with ready-made tools, computing power and storage to build, run and manage software without owning the underlying hardware or plumbing. Think of it like renting a fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals instead of buying appliances and renovating a home. For investors, it matters because these platforms often generate steady, repeatable revenue, scale efficiently as users grow, and can create customer stickiness that supports long-term margins and valuation.
middleware technical
Middleware is software that acts like a bridge or translator between different applications and systems, allowing them to share data and work together smoothly. Investors care because middleware influences how reliably a company’s technology runs, how easily new features or partners can be added, and whether a software provider has steady, repeatable revenue from integration services—factors that affect growth, costs and long‑term value.
cashtag financial
A cashtag is a short label formed by a dollar sign immediately followed by a stock’s ticker symbol (for example $XYZ) that people use on social media and some financial platforms to tag and search posts about a particular publicly traded security. It matters to investors because it lets you quickly find and follow conversations, news, and short code-based links about a stock across posts and data feeds—think of it as a hashtag that organizes market chatter and attention around a specific ticker.
