4 terms
remote guarding technical
"SAGE has become an authorized reseller of Cloudastructure’s AI surveillance, remote guarding"
Remote guarding is a security service where trained operators watch live video feeds from a central control center, use two-way audio and automated alerts to deter intruders, and summon on-site responders or police when needed. For investors, it matters because it turns physical security into a software-like, recurring service that can cut on-site labor costs, scale across many locations, and create predictable subscription revenue while reducing theft and liability risks for customers.
camera-agnostic technical
"The Company’s camera-agnostic platform is compatible with approximately 99%"
A camera-agnostic product or system is designed to work with a wide range of camera types, brands, or models rather than requiring a specific camera. Like a universal charger that fits many phones, it lets users plug in different hardware without rebuilding the software or workflow. For investors, that means the product can reach more customers, reduce integration friction, and avoid dependence on a single camera supplier.
cloud-native technical
"Cloud-native, camera-agnostic AI that integrates with existing security infrastructure"
Cloud-native describes a way of creating and running applications that are designed specifically to operate smoothly on cloud computing platforms. Think of it as building a house with flexible, lightweight materials that can be easily moved, scaled, or adjusted as needed, rather than using rigid, traditional construction. For investors, it signifies technology that is more adaptable, efficient, and capable of quickly responding to changing market demands.
facial recognition technical
"license plate and facial recognition, customizable motion detection"
Facial recognition is a technology that detects and compares human faces in images or video to identify or verify a person, like using a digital fingerprint for your face. Investors care because it can create new revenue streams across security, retail, and devices while also bringing costs and risks from privacy rules, legal challenges, and public pushback; its adoption and regulation can significantly affect a company’s growth and reputation.

Partnership with SAGE, 2026 Large Integrator of the Year, Opens a National Enterprise Sales Channel and Adds Installation Capability Across

Partnership was led by Ed Burnett, Cloudastructure’s Chief Security and Operations Officer and former Vice President of U.S. Security and Global Fraud Investigations at UPS

PALO ALTO, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cloudastructure, Inc. ("Cloudastructure" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: CSAI), an award-winning provider of AI-powered surveillance, remote monitoring, and cloud-based security analytics, today announced a nationwide partnership with SAGE Integration Holdings, LLC (“SAGE”), one of the nation’s leading enterprise security systems integrators. Under the non-exclusive agreement, SAGE has become an authorized reseller of Cloudastructure’s AI surveillance, remote guarding and remote video surveillance solutions and hardware, and Cloudastructure gains access to SAGE’s nationwide and global network of certified installation and service resources.

The partnership was led by Ed Burnett, Cloudastructure’s Chief Security and Operations Officer and former Vice President of U.S. Security and Global Fraud Investigations at UPS, where he spent two decades running one of the largest corporate security programs in America. Several members of SAGE’s senior team worked alongside Burnett during that period, and the agreement grew directly out of those working relationships.

“I spent twenty years making these decisions at UPS, and I chose cloud video early, when much of the industry was still skeptical of it,” said Ed Burnett, Chief Security and Operations Officer of Cloudastructure. “I know how much the platform choice matters, and I know it is only half the job. The right decision is worth very little if you cannot get it installed and supported to the same standard in every market, on schedule. Very few organizations can deliver that level of consistency at national scale.”

The agreement opens a national sales channel into Fortune 100 and other enterprise accounts while pairing it with the field capability to deploy at scale. SAGE, named 2026 Large Integrator of the Year by Security Systems News and the PSA Security Network, operates across 62 major U.S. metropolitan areas and 20 countries, serving clients in critical infrastructure, healthcare, biotech and pharmaceutical, higher education, commercial real estate, transportation and technology.

Under the terms of the agreement, SAGE is authorized to resell Cloudastructure’s full solution set, including:

  • AI Surveillance – Cloud-native, camera-agnostic AI that integrates with existing security infrastructure to deliver real-time threat detection, license plate and facial recognition, customizable motion detection and searchable cloud-based video storage.
  • Remote Guarding – AI-triggered, human-verified monitoring with live two-way audio intervention, real-time incident response and escalation to on-site personnel or law enforcement when required.
  • Remote Video Surveillance – Mobile surveillance trailers and enclosures that extend AI surveillance and remote guarding to construction sites, freight yards, equipment yards and other locations where permanent security infrastructure is not practical.
  • Enterprise Cameras & Hardware – Enterprise-grade cameras, audio systems and related hardware designed for seamless integration with Cloudastructure's cloud-native AI surveillance platform.

Each deployment carries subscription-based monitoring revenue, aligning both companies around long-term recurring value rather than one-time transactions.

“Enterprise security buyers do not have a technology problem anymore, they have a coverage problem,” said James McCormick, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Cloudastructure. “Enterprise organizations can already buy AI solutions. What they cannot easily do is deploy and support them to the same standard across every site they operate. That gap is where enterprise security projects stall, and it is what this agreement closes.”

McCormick continued, “The category is moving from hardware you own and footage you review to cloud-native software you subscribe to and guards who act while something is still happening. Reaching Fortune 100 security teams through an integrator they already trust puts us in front of enterprise buyers years earlier than we could reach them on our own.”

For cloud-native security platforms, installation capacity is often the limiting factor in serving large enterprise customers. Organizations with hundreds of locations need a partner that can survey, install, commission and support deployments at scale while maintaining consistent service standards. Through its partnership with SAGE, Cloudastructure now has that nationwide capability without expanding its own field organization. The Company’s camera-agnostic platform is compatible with approximately 99% of existing commercial-grade camera systems, including analog cameras connected through encoders. This enables SAGE to leverage infrastructure already installed at customer sites, helping reduce deployment time and upfront capital costs while transforming existing camera networks into AI-powered, remotely monitored security systems. Where needed, SAGE can also deploy new cameras and hardware as part of a complete solution.

“Our clients are asking for outcomes, not cameras,” said John Nemerofsky, Chief Operating Officer of SAGE Integration. “They want to know a trained remote guard is watching at 2 a.m. and will act on what they see, not an algorithm filing an alert or footage someone reviews on Monday. Cloudastructure keeps a human in the loop, using the camera infrastructure a client already has, which matters enormously to an enterprise running thousands of cameras across hundreds of sites. Adding their AI and remote guarding to our portfolio gives our clients a measurable reduction in risk on the infrastructure they already own.”

SAGE will begin offering Cloudastructure’s solutions to its enterprise client base immediately, with joint go-to-market activity across both organizations’ key verticals.

  • Expanded distribution. Through SAGE Integration, Cloudastructure gains access to a national enterprise sales channel and nationwide installation capabilities without expanding its direct field organization. This enables the Company to scale its market reach while maintaining a capital-efficient operating model.
  • Growth in recurring revenue. Every SAGE deployment includes Cloudastructure's subscription-based AI surveillance and remote guarding services, supporting the Company's transition toward higher-margin, recurring revenue. Subscription services revenue increased 164% year over year in the second quarter of 2026 and represented approximately 62% of total revenue, compared with approximately 27% in the prior-year period.
  • Accelerated access to enterprise customers. Many large organizations procure security technology through established systems integrators. By partnering with SAGE, Cloudastructure expects to engage enterprise customers more efficiently and broaden its presence within larger, multi-site organizations.
  • Expanded market opportunity. SAGE serves customers across critical infrastructure, healthcare, higher education, commercial real estate, transportation and logistics, verticals that align closely with Cloudastructure's cloud-native AI surveillance platform. The partnership also expands the reach of the Company's remote video surveillance trailers and enclosures, which provide security for construction sites, freight yards, equipment yards and other locations where permanent infrastructure may not be practical.

SAGE, named 2026 Large Integrator of the Year by Security Systems News and the PSA Security Network, is recognized for its financial performance, international expansion and sustained investment in its people. The company also received the 2024 Bill Bozeman Award, which honors an integrator whose impact extends beyond its own growth to elevate the broader security industry. Built on more than 30 years of security integration experience, with roots dating to AYSCO in 1988 and DTS Security, SAGE is also a Honeywell Integrated Security Platinum Partner. Many of SAGE's enterprise customers operate dozens or even hundreds of facilities, creating meaningful opportunities to expand deployments over time. Combined with Cloudastructure's customer retention rate of approximately 99%, management believes the partnership has the potential to accelerate recurring subscription revenue growth through both new customer acquisition and expansion within existing enterprise accounts.
