Insights

Cavco delivered stronger revenue, margins, and EPS while closing an acquisition and continuing buybacks — overall positive near-term impact.

Consolidated Net revenue rose to $556.5 million in the quarter, a 9.7% increase year-over-year, driven by higher home sales volume and a higher net revenue per home; diluted EPS increased to $6.55, up 24.1%. The Financial Services segment showed a marked improvement in profitability, with gross profit margin moving to 55.6% from 21.8%, which materially supported consolidated operating income.

Key dependencies and risks are integration execution for the recently closed acquisition of American Homestar, and sustaining Financial Services loss improvements that benefited from lower prior-year severe weather claims. Cash flow flexibility appears healthy: the balance sheet shows increased cash and retained earnings, and management repurchased approximately $36 million of stock with $142 million remaining authorization.

Watch upcoming integration milestones and the conference call on October 31, 2025 for management commentary on synergy capture, any acquisition-related costs, and outlook for capacity utilization above the reported ~75% level. Near-term horizon: next 1–4 quarters to assess whether Financial Services margin gains and Home sales momentum persist through integration.
