Diana Shipping Inc. (NYSE: DSX) has secured a new time charter contract for its Kamsarmax vessel m/v Leonidas P. C. with Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha. The contract features a gross charter rate of $14,000 per day (minus 5% commission) and will run from September 24, 2025, until minimum September 15, 2026.
The charter is expected to generate approximately $4.93 million in gross revenue for the minimum period. Diana Shipping's fleet consists of 36 dry bulk vessels with a combined capacity of 4.1 million dwt and has two methanol dual fuel Kamsarmax vessels on order for delivery by 2028.

Diana Shipping Inc.’s fleet currently consists of 36 dry bulk vessels (4 Newcastlemax, 8 Capesize, 4 Post-Panamax, 6 Kamsarmax, 5 Panamax and 9 Ultramax). The Company also expects to take delivery of two methanol dual fuel new-building Kamsarmax dry bulk vessels by the second half of 2027 and the first half of 2028, respectively.
