Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Duos Technologies Group (DUOT) signed a colocation agreement worth over $400 million with a publicly traded U.S. cloud services provider. The 10-year agreement covers 20 megawatts (MW) of facility load, with deployment expected in Q2 2027.

Duos also plans to secure approximately 100 MW of additional powered, data center-zoned land across multiple U.S. sites for its Edge AI platform. Approximately 25 MW is under contract, while an additional 75 MW remains in active negotiations. The company expects to finalize all site agreements by year-end. Its already-live Columbus, Georgia campus moved from acquisition to 7 MW of installed infrastructure in approximately 60 days; the sites under negotiation were screened against the same standard.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

"signing of a new 10-year colocation agreement for 20 megawatts"
Colocation is the practice of placing a trader’s computer servers inside or next to an exchange’s data center so their orders travel the shortest possible distance to the exchange’s computers. For investors this matters because even tiny gains in speed can mean better trade prices or reduced slippage—like being first in line at a checkout—so firms that colocate can gain steady, measurable advantages or incur extra costs that affect returns.

Company Signs 10-Year, 20 MW Colocation Agreement with a Mature Publicly Traded Cloud Services Provider

Company in Active Negotiations to Secure Approximately 100 MW of Additional Powered, Data Center-Zoned Land

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Duos Technologies Group, Inc. (“Duos” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: DUOT), a provider of adaptive, modular architecture data center colocation and infrastructure solutions, today announced the signing of a new 10-year colocation agreement for 20 megawatts (MW) of facility load with a mature publicly traded Cloud Services Provider in the United States. Duos is also in active negotiations on approximately 100 MW of additional powered, data center-zoned land to expand its Duos Edge AI platform.

The newly executed customer agreement represents over $400 million of total contract value over the initial term and is expected to be deployed in Q2 2027 within Duos’ expanding portfolio of Edge AI campuses.

In support of growing customer demand, Duos is also currently under contract and in active negotiations to secure approximately 100 MW of additional powered, data center-zoned land across multiple sites in the United States. Of that total, approximately 25 MW is currently under contract across multiple sites in the United States, and the Company is in active negotiations on an additional 75 MW. The Company expects to finalize all site agreements by year-end.

“The signing of a new 20 MW colocation agreement with such a mature publicly traded Cloud Services Provider in the United States, together with our efforts to finalize 100 MW of additional powered, data center-zoned land, represents another significant step in executing our long-term growth strategy,” said Doug Recker, Chief Executive Officer of Duos. “These developments reflect the increasing demand we are seeing from customers seeking scalable, power-dense infrastructure that can be deployed quickly and efficiently. Our modular architecture, contract-first approach, and ability to identify attractive expansion opportunities continue to differentiate Duos in the marketplace. As AI, cloud, content delivery, and enterprise computing requirements grow, we believe we are well positioned to quickly expand our customer base and increase contracted revenue.”

Consistent with the Company’s contract-first development model, Duos works to establish customer demand for a site before committing significant capital to it, rather than building speculative inventory and seeking tenants afterward.

The Company’s already-live Columbus, Georgia campus moved from acquisition to 7 MW of installed infrastructure in approximately 60 days; the new sites now under negotiation were screened against the same standard.
