"advanced ISR & Targeting payloads"
ISR stands for socially responsible investing (from the French phrase Investissement Socialement Responsable) and means choosing stocks, bonds or funds based on environmental, social and governance criteria in addition to financial return. Like picking a brand that matches your values, ISR matters to investors because it helps align portfolios with personal or institutional priorities, can reduce exposure to companies with regulatory or reputational risks, and can influence demand and valuation for firms deemed more sustainable.
mwir technical
"Mid-Wave Infrared (MWIR), Visible and Short-Wave Infrared"
Mid-wave infrared (MWIR) is a portion of the infrared light spectrum, roughly 3–5 micrometers in wavelength, that cameras and sensors use to detect heat, gas signatures and material differences that are invisible to the human eye. For investors, MWIR denotes a technical capability behind devices in defense, surveillance, industrial inspection and autonomous systems — like choosing a regular camera versus one that can “see” temperature contrasts — which can drive product value, market demand and pricing power.
swir technical
"Visible and Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) high-definition imaging channels"
SWIR, short-wave infrared, is a band of light just beyond what human eyes can see that imaging sensors capture to reveal heat, moisture, material differences and details hidden in visible light — think of it as special glasses for cameras that let them see through fog, spot defects and read markings invisible to us. Investors care because companies that make or use SWIR sensors can gain technological advantages and sell into high-growth markets like defense, industrial inspection, machine vision and autonomous systems, affecting revenue, margins and competitive position.
