Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Key Terms

diluted share, reinsurance, net premiums written, return on average equity
4 terms
diluted share financial
"or $1.82 per diluted share"
Diluted share count is the total number of company shares that would exist if all potential claims that can become stock—such as employee stock options, warrants and convertible bonds—were exercised or converted. Investors use diluted shares to see a more conservative view of ownership and per-share metrics (like earnings per share), because it’s like slicing a cake into more pieces: the same profit spread over more slices makes each slice smaller.
reinsurance technical
"mortgage insurance and reinsurance franchise"
Reinsurance is when insurance companies buy insurance for themselves to protect against very big losses. It’s like a car owner getting extra coverage from another company so that if there's a serious accident, the financial hit isn’t all on one company. This helps insurance companies stay stable and able to pay out when disasters happen.
net premiums written financial
"Reinsurance net premiums written for the nine months ended"
Net premiums written is the total amount of insurance premium a company has agreed to collect from customers for new and renewed policies during a period, after subtracting premiums it passes on to other insurers (reinsurance) and cancellations. It matters to investors because it shows the insurer’s actual sales growth and risk retained—like a retailer’s sales after returns and wholesale transfers—so rising net premiums written can signal stronger future revenue and underwriting exposure.
return on average equity financial
"The 2026 return on average equity is calculated by dividing"
Return on average equity (ROAE) measures how much profit a company generates for its shareholders’ invested capital over a period, calculated by dividing net profit by the average shareholder equity during that period. It matters to investors because it shows how efficiently management turns owners’ money into earnings—like how much bread a baker bakes from the same oven space—helping compare profitability across companies and track performance over time.

Book Value Per Share Inclusive of Common Dividends & Reconciliation of Non-GAAP Financial Measures

Management believes Book Value Per Share Inclusive of Common Dividends provides investors with useful supplemental information because it reflects both changes in GAAP book value per share and cash dividends distributed to common shareholders. Management uses this measure as an additional indicator of per-share capital generation and capital return. Because dividends paid to common shareholders reduce GAAP book value per share, management believes this measure helps investors evaluate the combined effect of retained capital growth and capital distributed to shareholders during the period.

The following table sets forth the reconciliation of Book Value per Share Inclusive of Common Dividends to the most comparable GAAP amount as of September 30, 2026, as well as the 12-month growth in Book Value per Share Inclusive of Common Dividends in accordance with Regulation G.
