Acquisition Extends EMS's Reach with Fence Contractors, Dealers, and Builders and Adds Complementary Product Lines

ROSEMONT, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- EMS, a value-added distributor of aluminum products and a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, L.P. ("Wynnchurch"), today announced the acquisition of AMD Supply ("AMD"), a distributor of fencing, hurricane shutters, and aluminum products serving the Southeastern United States.

Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Florida, AMD serves fence contractors, general contractors, manufacturers, dealers, and builders. AMD offers a broad portfolio of aluminum and vinyl fencing, hurricane shutters, standard and custom aluminum extrusions, tubular motors and accessories, screen doors, hardware, and castings.
