Sunflower Bank, N.A. Donates Over $133,000 to Schools and Students Through 2024-2025 ABC Program for Education Campaign

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sunflower Bank, N.A. has donated a total of $104,860 to K-12 schools and school systems that participated in its ABC Program for Education’s 2024-2025 school year campaign. In addition, the ABC Program’s “Pay for As” drawings throughout 2025 resulted in $28,510 in payments directly to students as a reward for academic achievements. Since 2001, the ABC Program has donated over $1.9 million to support education in Sunflower Bank and First National 1870 communities.

Sunflower Bank, N.A.’s 2025-2026 school year campaign is already underway with the following opportunities to support education throughout the bank’s footprint:

• Customer Debit Card Transactions: Sunflower Bank and First National 1870 customers can designate an ABC Program-registered school to support with each eligible debit card purchase during the campaign, with a standard school donation of $0.02 per transaction.¹
• New Account Openings: The bank will donate $5 for new Elevation Checking accounts opened with a qualifying school code during the campaign period. The current campaign is running between September 1, 2025 and August 31, 2026.²
• “Pay for As” Drawings: Twice a year, K-12 students can bring their most recent report card to any bank branch for a chance to win $10 for every A, up to a total of $100 per student. These drawings are open to the public and no purchase is required for entry. Five winners are drawn per branch and the current drawing period ends on December 31, 2025.³
  • Added Benefit: If a winning student attends a participating ABC Program school, that school will receive a matching donation from the bank.⁴
