Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Genenta Science (Nasdaq: GNTA) received a Nasdaq notification on October 16, 2026, that it failed the minimum bid price requirement. Its American Depositary Shares (ADSs) closed below $1.00 for 30 consecutive business days, from September 3 through October 15, 2026.

The notice does not cause immediate delisting. Genenta has until April 14, 2027 to regain compliance, requiring a closing bid of at least $1.00 per ADS for at least 10 consecutive business days, unless Nasdaq extends that period. An additional 180-calendar-day compliance period is conditional on eligibility requirements. Shareholders have already approved a 1-for-10 to 1-for-20 reverse split, which the board may implement if appropriate. Genenta plans to monitor its ADS price and evaluate compliance options.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

american depositary shares financial
"The Company’s American Depositary Shares (“ADSs”)"
American depositary shares (ADSs) are a way for investors in the United States to buy shares of foreign companies without dealing with international markets directly. They represent ownership in a foreign company's stock and are traded on U.S. stock exchanges, making it easier for American investors to buy, sell, and own parts of companies from around the world.
reverse stock split financial
"including by effecting a reverse stock split"
A reverse stock split reduces a company's number of outstanding shares while raising the price per share proportionally, so the total value of each investor's holding is unchanged; a 1-for-10 split turns 100 shares worth $1 each into 10 shares worth $10 each. Companies often do this to regain compliance with an exchange's minimum price rule or to attract investors who avoid very low-priced stocks.

MILAN, Italy, Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Genenta Science S.p.A. (Nasdaq: GNTA) (the “Company”) today announced that on October 16, 2026, it received a notification letter from the Listing Qualifications Department of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”) indicating that the Company is not in compliance with the minimum bid price requirement of $1.00 per share under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2).

The notification was issued because the closing bid price of the Company’s American Depositary Shares (“ADSs”) was below $1.00 per ADS for 30 consecutive business days, from September 3, 2026 through October 15, 2026. The notification does not result in the immediate delisting of the Company’s ADSs, which will continue to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol “GNTA,” subject to the Company’s continued compliance with other applicable listing requirements.

Under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(A), the Company has been provided an initial period of 180 calendar days, until April 14, 2027, to regain compliance with the minimum bid price requirement. To regain compliance, the closing bid price of the Company’s ADSs must be at least $1.00 per ADS for a minimum of 10 consecutive business days during the compliance period, unless Nasdaq exercises its discretion to extend this period.

If the Company does not regain compliance by April 14, 2027, it may be eligible for an additional 180-calendar-day compliance period, provided that it satisfies the applicable market value of publicly held shares requirement and all other initial listing standards for the Nasdaq Capital Market, except the minimum bid price requirement, and provides written notice of its intention to cure the deficiency, including by effecting a reverse stock split, if necessary.

As previously disclosed, the Company’s shareholders have already approved a reverse stock split within a range of 1-for-10 to 1-for-20, which the Board of Directors is authorized to implement, if deemed appropriate.

The Company intends to monitor the closing bid price of its ADSs and evaluate available options to regain compliance with Nasdaq’s minimum bid price requirement. Although the Company will use all reasonable efforts, there can be no assurance that it will regain compliance within the initial compliance period, qualify for any additional compliance period, or otherwise remain in compliance with other Nasdaq continued listing requirements.
