How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Key Terms

net interest margin, non-performing assets, available-for-sale securities, core deposit intangible
4 terms
net interest margin financial
"The Company’s net interest margin was 3.83% for the three months ended September 30, 2026"
Net interest margin measures how much a bank earns from lending and investing compared with what it pays for funding, expressed as a percentage of its interest-earning assets. Think of it like a grocery store’s markup: it shows the gap between buying cost and selling price per dollar of goods — here, the cost is interest paid and the sale is interest received. Investors watch it because a higher margin usually means a bank is more profitable and better at managing interest rate and credit conditions.
non-performing assets financial
"At September 30, 2026 the Company had $1.556 million of non-performing assets"
Loans or other credit exposures that are not producing expected income because borrowers have stopped making scheduled payments for a significant period (commonly around 90 days). Think of it like a business lending money that has gone quiet — the cash flow stops while the lender still carries the debt on its books. High levels of non-performing assets matter to investors because they reduce a lender’s earnings, tie up capital that could be used for growth, and signal higher risk of future losses.
available-for-sale securities financial
"unrealized losses on available-for-sale securities"
Available-for-sale securities are investments in stocks, bonds or similar instruments that a company does not intend to trade frequently but may sell before they mature. They matter to investors because changes in the market value of these holdings show up as paper gains or losses on the company's balance sheet rather than immediately in profit, so they can affect reported net worth and the timing of income without changing day-to-day earnings. Think of them like items on a household shelf you might sell later: their value moves with the market even if you haven’t cashed out.
core deposit intangible financial
"decreases of $17,000 in amortization of core deposit intangible"
Core deposit intangible is an accounting asset that represents the value of customer deposits a bank gains, usually through an acquisition, because those deposits provide a stable, low-cost source of funding. Think of it like paying for a loyal customer list that will save the bank money over time; it is written down over several years and affects reported earnings and the apparent cost of acquiring new funds, so investors watch it to understand future profitability and capital impact.
