Highland Opportunities and Income Fund (NYSE:HFRO) has announced the appointment of Brad Heiss as a portfolio manager, effective September 9, 2025. Heiss joins existing portfolio managers Scott Johnson and James Dondero in managing the Fund's investments.
Heiss brings over 20 years of investment management experience, currently serving as Executive VP and CIO of NexAnnuity, and oversees NexPoint's financial services sector investments. His background includes positions at Goldman Sachs, Maverick Capital, and Citadel Advisors before joining NexPoint in 2013.
