"launch of its new Facultative Reinsurance line of business"
Facultative reinsurance is a form of reinsurance arranged one risk or one policy at a time, where the primary insurer offers a particular exposure to a reinsurer and the reinsurer can choose to accept or decline that specific risk. It matters to investors because it lets insurers transfer unusually large or unusual risks case-by-case, affecting an insurer’s potential losses, capital needs and earnings volatility much like buying insurance for a single expensive item rather than a blanket policy for an entire collection.

Industry veteran brings deep underwriting and executive leadership experience to establish and scale Vantage's new facultative offering line

HAMILTON, Bermuda, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Vantage Group Holdings Ltd. ("Vantage") today announced the launch of its new Facultative Reinsurance line of business, led by industry executive Lisa Pickard, who has joined Vantage as President of Facultative Reinsurance.

Vantage

This expansion marks a key milestone in Vantage's strategy to scale its specialty insurance and reinsurance lines following its June 2026 acquisition by Howard Hughes Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: HHH). In her new role, Ms. Pickard will report directly to Greg Hendrick, Chief Executive Officer of Vantage and oversee the division's strategic direction, risk appetite, team recruitment, and broker-partner relationships.

Ms. Pickard brings decades of senior underwriting and operational leadership in the property facultative sector, with experience building teams and businesses and a focus on underwriting expertise, leadership, and strategy. She began her career at Gen Re before spending pivotal years at Arch Re Facultative, where she led underwriting teams, shaped portfolio strategy and developed market-leading underwriting teams. She subsequently served as Arch Re's first Chief Strategy Officer, driving growth and corporate strategy on the executive leadership committee. Most recently, Ms. Pickard founded Atlas Gray, an advisory firm that helps insurance organizations with underwriting strategy, portfolio construction, operating models, and leadership development.

"Lisa brings rare depth as both an underwriting leader and strategist, " said Marc Grandisson, Executive Chairman of Vantage. "Her track record of building high-caliber teams and scaling disciplined portfolios reflects the exact rigor we need as we establish our facultative line and drive Vantage's next phase of growth."

"Vantage has built a dynamic business that delivers tailored, data-driven solutions to clients," said Ms. Pickard. "I look forward to assembling a world-class team and partnering closely with our client community to provide disciplined, tailored facultative solutions that respond directly to complex risk environments while advancing Vantage's commitment to excellence and innovation."

At Vantage, Ms. Pickard will build the team, define the underwriting approach, and develop broker and client relationships for the Facultative Reinsurance business. She brings a clear view of how the best insurance businesses operate: strong technical fundamentals, disciplined underwriting judgment, clear accountability, and a culture where talented people can make sound decisions.
