The report highlights the progress HPE has made in leveraging its portfolio of IT sustainability solutions and expertise to help customers improve the sustainability of their IT estates. It outlines the company’s approach to ensuring responsible and ethical use of technology within its organization and for its customers and showcases the positive results of the investments it has made into the well-being and long-term development of its people.

Empowering Customers with HPE’s Portfolio of IT Sustainability Solutions
HPE helps mitigate the environmental impacts of our customers’ growing IT needs across the entire IT lifecycle through HPE’s portfolio of IT sustainability solutions designed to support customers across three critical areas: expertise and advisory services, actionable data and visibility of IT estates, and solutions that optimize energy consumption while promoting clean energy use.
In FY24, the HPE Sustainability Insights Center, accessible via a unified console in the HPE GreenLake cloud, was among several tools that HPE introduced and refined to allow customers to make more informed decisions on their IT estates’ environmental impacts across IT planning, procurement and operations.

Commitment to Responsible Technology Solutions
HPE maintained its decades-long commitment to advancing responsible technology solutions across its operations, supply chain, and customer offerings throughout the year. In 2024, HPE launched several initiatives to strengthen governance and risk management around AI. The company introduced an internal AI Governance and Enablement Hub to centralize AI policies, tools, and training. HPE’s AI projects now undergo rigorous risk assessments based on HPE’s AI Ethics Principles, ensuring secure and responsible use across the enterprise.
HPE also developed a platform to streamline AI ethics assessments, automate mitigation recommendations, and monitor trends in AI adoption, allowing the company to focus on high-risk areas and enhance oversight. To support customers, HPE established the HPE Digital Trust Center, providing tools to navigate cybersecurity risks and responsibly manage data.
