SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

PHIL Inc., the technology-powered patient access platform, today announced its partnership with Harrow (Nasdaq: HROW), a leading provider of ophthalmic disease management solutions in North America, to launch HarrowRx, Harrow’s new prescribing and access platform. HarrowRx gives eye care providers the ability to e-prescribe Harrow’s branded ophthalmic portfolio from one destination within the electronic medical record (EMR) systems they already use, with built-in patient services, ECP support, and affordability programs.

One Prescribing Destination for Harrow’s Growing Eye Care Portfolio

HarrowRx builds on the companies’ established partnership to improve patient access and affordability. Supporting products across Harrow’s entire eye care portfolio, including VEVYE®, HarrowRx is designed to simplify the steps that follow a treatment decision, giving eye care professionals and their staff fewer specialty pharmacies, fulfillment channels, and patient savings programs to navigate, and giving patients a clearer path to access, afford, and receive their prescribed treatment through a digitally-supported access journey.

HarrowRx is designed to scale this standard of patient-first care. Healthcare providers can e-prescribe to HarrowRx, which routes the prescription to a modern access infrastructure that guides patients through the access experience with built-in support and affordability options available for eligible patients. PHIL supports pharmacy operations and patient-access services for applicable prescription-benefit medicines.

The companies’ existing direct-to-patient program has already demonstrated positive impacts for patients. As one patient described: “I have been getting my prescription for Vevye filled for quite a while with PhilRx. [The experience is] great. I get a reminder when it's time to refill, when it's shipped and when it should be there. Wonderful service!”

“We created HarrowRx to simplify the path from prescription to treatment for patients and build upon the trust providers and patients have in the Harrow brand,” said Mark L. Baum, Chief Executive Officer of Harrow. “With our entire branded portfolio in one place within the EMR, we believe HarrowRx will enhance efficiency for prescribers. PHIL has been a valued partner in supporting pharmacy services and helping patients access their Harrow medicines.”

“Our partnership with Harrow has meaningfully improved eye care access, and HarrowRx takes this strong foundation to the next level. By introducing an integrated pathway for e-prescribing and support throughout the access journey, we are helping ensure the millions of Americans living with chronic eye conditions have a clear, affordable path to treatment,” commented Sahil Naik, Chief Growth Officer, PHIL Inc.

The partnership deepens PHIL’s extensive footprint in ophthalmology alongside its widespread and growing presence in dermatology, women’s health, neurology, and cardiology, all supported by the company’s #1-rated U.S. online pharmacy platform with 26,000+ patient reviews on Trustpilot.

HarrowRx is now available to eye care providers. To get started, prescribers can search for "HarrowRx" (or its NCPDP ID 3694886 or NPI 1578473732) in the pharmacy finder of a connected EMR, select it, and send the prescription as usual. Fulfillment options and patient-support programs vary by product and eligibility.

Key Terms

emr technical
An electronic medical record (EMR) is a digital version of a patient’s paper chart used by a single clinic or hospital to store medical history, test results, prescriptions and treatment notes. For investors, EMR systems matter because they drive recurring software and service revenue, affect healthcare providers’ costs and efficiency, and carry regulatory, privacy and interoperability risks that can influence adoption, contract value and long‑term market growth.
npi technical
New product introduction (NPI) is the organized process a company uses to bring a new product from idea to market, covering design, testing, manufacturing setup, and launch. Investors watch NPI because it drives future sales and profitability much like a baker introducing a new bread — it can attract customers, change production costs, and signal how well the company can innovate and scale. Successful NPIs often translate into revenue growth, while delays or failures can hurt earnings and stock value.
